When Antonio got the text from Lovino to come over he threw on his jacket, grabbing the pencils (which he really had tried to wrap, but it wasn't his forte,) and the card before going outside and jumping in the car. He drove quickly to their house, hopping out of the car and walking up to the door, knocking it gently. He was a little nervous of seeing them all again. Not Lovino, but he was still embarrassed about getting so out of control the other night, and was worried Roma wouldn't be so kind to him now. Of course he'd expect the teasing that would doubtless come from Feli, but that was easy to handle. -

Roma was the one who answered the door, a drink of some kind in his hand again, obviously having learned nothing after the eggnog incident. "Ah, Antonio! Merry Christmas!" He cheered happily, ushering him in. Feliciano would have no doubt been teasing him, if for the fact the and Ludwig were a bit preoccupied under the mistletoe at the moment. Even Lovino was cheerful enough not to make gagging noises at them, and his eyes lit up when he saw Antonio walk in. "Hey," he greeted, completely failing at seeming indifferent about seeing him. He hesitated, then decided that to hell with hesitating, it was Christmas, and pulled him into a quick kiss. "I'm glad you came." He whispered, smiling slightly as Roma announced that it was time for presents. -

Antonio was relieved at Roma's relaxed attitude when he greeted him, less nervous as he entered the house. He grinned when he spotted Lovino. "Hey!" He said cheerfully, anything he might have continued to say being interrupted by the quick kiss. Antonio decided very quickly that that was much better than what he had been about to say, anyways. "I'm glad you invited me," Antonio whispered back, raising an eyebrow conspiratorially and pulling Lovino towards the family room where everyone else was. "Come on, I want you to have your present now." He pulled him right next to the tree and tugged him down to sit next to Antonio on the ground, dropping the present in his lap. He set the card under the tree as well, a happy smile glued to his face. -

Lovino was pleased to see that Feli had finally allowed poor potato b------ to come up for air, the two of them sitting red-faced next to Roma. Lovino glanced down at the awkwardly wrapped lump with a tiny crooked smile. Somehow the messy but heartfelt job see,ed very Antonio. He tore away the paper, gasping when saw what it was, one hand springing up to hide his dropped jaw. "Oh, Antonio," he breathed. Colored pencils, professional brand, and it was a large set, too. Those weren't cheap. He was touched to know that Antonio must've noticed his staring at the mall. "Oh my god, thank you," he added in a whisper, finally turning to glance at him again, a happy smile stuck on his face. -

Antonio felt very proud of himself at the excited reaction to his gift, smiling widely. "Mm, de nada, amor." He hummed, leaning over to peck him on the cheek. One hand went to the back of his neck, rubbing nervously as his face went slightly pink. "I actually, uh, didn't know which ones to get, so I had the person at the store tell me which ones were the nice ones. I hope they're the right ones..." His smile became slightly more sheepish, mostly just glad that Lovino liked his present. He was lucky Lovino had given himself away a bit at the mall, although he still seemed satisfyingly surprised. -

"They're f---ing perfect," he confirmmed with a nod, leaning over to peck him on the lips. He gingerly set the ccolored pencils aside, moving to grab Antonio's present. The soccer bball hhad been too hard to wrap, so he'd hidden it inn a gift bag with lots and lots of colored tiissue paper. However, he was more proud of the pictures. One from Feli, and onne from Elizaveta, although that had taken ssome coaxing. The one from Feli had meant tto be used as blackmail, thhough he'dhapoily given it up whrn Lovino askedd. It was the ttwo of them asleep on the couch, Lovino curled innto Antonio''s chext. The one from Elizaveta wass a bit more innterestign, based on exactly what they'd been doingg at the party. In tiny letters, on the back of both pictures, he'd sccrawled a neat little message- 'All my love, idiota. Merry Christmas.' It was embarrassinng and cheesy, but he still hopedhe liked them .. -

Antonio took the bag, peering in curiously. Of course he found the soccer ball first. It was bright red and brand new, and a wide smile spread on his face. "Hmmm, gracias, Lovinito." He murmured, setting it outside the bag in his lap, balanced between his legs. He moved to pull the paper out as well, surprised when he found to photos in the bag as well. His eyes widened when he saw exactly what they were pictures of. He felt his face go red at the first one, smiling at the image of Lovino tucked next to him on the couch, both of them sound asleep. The other one made him laugh, going even redder. He flipped them over to set them down, spotting the little message on the back. He set the ball and the photos aside, twisting to hug Lovino tightly. "Thank you, Lovino." He whispered in his heard, smile so wide his cheeks hurt. "I love it. Te quiero, idiota." -
Ahh yeah but it's fine now!! Just tired haha, good morning ^^
"Yeah, yeah, I knew you would," Lovino lied with a huff, but hugged him back anyway. He couldn't help but smile when Feli obviously liked his gift too, glad that it was money well spent. Roma laughed heartily at his gifts as well, obviously drunk when he seemed incredibly moved by Antonio's little card. -

Antonio watched Lovino give his presents to his grandpa and Feli. The happiness and noise and closeness felt like something that should have been familiar, but wasn't. He was glad again that Lovino had invited him, watching Lovino smiling and everyone happy and together and not drunk (or in pain) for once. -

Lovino was perfectly content to sit with Antonio and laugh at Ludwig's awkward attempts to return Feliciano's flirting. Unfortunately, the younger Italian had different plans, smiling slyly. "Antonio, Lovino did all the decorating, doesn't everything look nice?" It seemed innocent enough, but he was pointing straight at the one thing Lovino had been opposed to putting up- the mistletoe. He blushed deeply, nudging Feli with his foot, who giggled, looking way too proud of himself. -

Antonio raised an eyebrow, smirking slightly. He nodded, elbowing Lovino gently. "It looks very nice," He said, leaning over and kissing Lovino quickly on the cheek. He had the sneaking feeling that the mistletoe toe had been more of a trap to tease Lovino than anything, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to take full advantage of it. He also didn't mind Feli teasing Lovino so much, as long as he got to see him go red like he did. He leaned against Lovino slightly, resting his head on his shoulder, grinning and humming a Christmas song under his breath. -
oh god, I'm so sorry. I really hope your dad feels better soon. Is school alright so far at least?
Lovino rolled his eyes, face burning. "I know it looks nice, jerk." He stuck his tongue out at Feli. "You guys both suck." He muttered, but he was laughing slightly as Antonio leaned against him. There was a beep from the kitchen and Feli's attention was quickly recaptured as he bounded up and into the kitchen, singing something about cookies. Lovino took advantage of his absence to lean over and kiss Antonio. -

Antonio laughed softly, looking back up when Feli jumped out of the room. He hummed lowly when Lovino kissed him, leaning in and still smiling slightly. "I don't need mistletoe to kiss you," He murmured quietly, "but I'll take any excuse, tonto." Feliciano skipped back in at that moment holding a fairly large platter of cookies. He rolled his eyes at Lovino and Antonio, smirking. "Stop eating each other's faces and have some cookies." He teased, setting the platter down. -

but I think I made a friend lmao it's pathetic but that's an accomplishment
Lovino jerked back with a dark blush, muttering a few curses at Feli and Antonio, who were both grinning widely. "These cookies better be f---ing awesome if you're gonna be annoying all day." He huffed. Feli looked offended, but it quickly faded when Lovino took a few cookies and admitted that they didn't suck. They talked for a while, and Lovino was enjoying himself, but he did want to be able to kiss Antonio without getting all embarrassed. "Let's go outside," he murmured softly, nudin him gently. -

Antonio took a cookie in good faith, assuring Feliciano that they were delicious. When he felt Lovino nudge him he glanced over, before nodding slightly and standing up. He grabbed Lovino's hand, ignoring Feliciano's raised eyebrow. He leaned over slightly to speak quietly in his ear. "I think it's funny when Feliciano teases you." He laughed softly. "It's cute to see you go all red. Although I still like kissing you better." Not that he didn't go red as well,but it was much nicer on Lovino, in his opinion.
