Gunner groaned, styling his hair as told. When he was done, he turned to Riley and murmured, "I'm ready." He didn't seem overly excited, as he desired more attention from Riley. But he had agreed to go, and it might be fun.

Riley looked at him and grinned "Sexy" he said and pulled Gunner close, giving him a lingering kiss. He broke the kiss and took Gunner's hand, walking out of the bathroom and right pass the cleaning lady without a care in the world.

Gunner had blushed at his lover's compliment, enjoying the slow, lingering kids. He was sad when the kiss ended. Soon, he was tugged out of the bathroom, surprising him. He walked down the hall with Riley, giving him an affectionate kiss to the cheek.

Riley smiled and blushed a little, getting this weird excited feeling in his stomach. Riley pressed the button for the elevator, and the door opened with a ding, the elevator empty. He stepped inside, pulling Gunner with him, and pressed the lobby button and the doors slid closed again

Gunner sat in the middle of the elevator, wiggling his eyebrows at Riley. He laughed a little at himself, hugging his arms around himself. Gunner wondered what Riley's brother would be like, nibbling his lip in anxiety a little.

Rilwy laughed and sat in Gunner's lap, wrapping his arms around his neck. He noticed Gunner nibbling on his lip, and had grown to know that was Gunner's nervous habit. "Hey, don't be nervous, my brother is going to love you" he said and pecked him on the lips.

Gunner smiled at the kiss he received, giving a thankful glance. Gunner sighed, "I wonder what he will... Uh... Think about us." It came out as a question, instead of a statement.

"Well, he already knows that I'm gay, so I don't think he'll care." Riley said. "When we met, we promised each other no secrets. We had both had enough of those over the years" he continued, getting up off of Gunner. He ran a hand through his hair.

Gunner laughed a little. "Oh. Most of my family is.. Erm, gone." He stated, sighing. He gave Riley a quick kiss on the corners of his lips. Gunner gave a small smile, wrapping his arms around the other's neck.

Riley blushed and smiled back, pecking him on the lips. The elevator door dinged and opened, and Riley -quite reluctantly- pulled away, taking Gunner's hand again. "I never knew most of my family. I'm adopted, I just met my brother about a year ago. He's sixteen, luckily he got adopted into a good home when he was born."

"My family died when I was little. I was the only survivor- they were murdered. That's why I got into my profession. I wanted revenge." He admitted. Gunner didn't mind to talk about his family- it didn't hurt him any more. In fact, he desired to quite his profession as he lost his passion for it.

"I'm sorry" Riley said, glancing at him while they walked. He wondered if Gunner had ever gotten his revenge, but decided he didn't entirely want to know if he had. Even the thought of blood made Riley queasy. He remembered what his father had said to him 'A man that can't take blood, isn't a man at all' Riley had told his adopted father that was a paradox, and in turn got in trouble for having an attitude. He re-focused on Gunner, and ran his fingers in his hair again, out of pure habit.

"It doesn't hurt me anymore, don't pity me." Gunner snarled in a cruel, defensive tone. He began to shut people out when people got near his heart-!:9, naturally, that's what he did. Gunner crossed his arms, sighing.

Riley stopped and tugged on Gunner, making him stop. "Okay, first off I'm not pitying you, I know how hard it is to lose a parent" his voice cracked on those last few words "And second off, don't get snippy with me because of your own insecurities" he said, walking off in a frustrated storm.

Gunner frowned, walking after him in guilt. "Riley." He moved quicker, grabbing his arm. He grabbed both of his hands and turned him to face him. Gunner kissed his cheek, "Baby, I'm sorry."
