Do have absolutely no filter on your mouth whatsoever?! Of all the things to say. I mean really, you sitting there complaining while there are people who actually want to die!" she screamed, tears filling her eyes.

Devin felt pained that Kyla was screaming at her, but had enough. "Why don't you quick being so uptight all the time?! You're all sad about how your family is dead when there's kids out there who don't have a family! All you do is push me away, and I'm sick! Sick of it!" She screamed. Devin couldn't take it. The screaming, the fighting, the stress, it was too much.

I c-can't lose you" She was completely crying now "I can't lose you because I'm in love with you" she said softy. She looked up, suprised at what she just admited, and stormed out of the apartment, slamming the door behind her.

Devin opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. She watched as Kyla stormed out, just after confessing her love. "I-I can't believe it," Devin whispered, feeling her face heat up, and her heart feeling heavy. She was so blind! How could she not notice that Kyla felt that way? A feeling of guilt washed over her as she felt herself beginning to cry. "She loved me.. And I chased her away.. It's my fault," Devin put her face in her hands, sobbing loudly. -

Kyla stopped in the hallway of their apartment building. Tears streamed down her face, and she gasped lightly. Why was she so stupid! She couldn't believe she just admitted her feelings to Devin, she'd probably just lost her best friend. Things could never be the same between them now.She'd known for a long time her feelings for Devin, even before the accident, but she was scared of what it would do to their relationship. Now, she didn't know what to do, or where to go. -

Devin pulled her knees close to her, tears staining her cheeks. The feeling of having a friend be mad at you was horrible, but losing a friend was like dying. You'd never get them back, and Devin was afraid that Kyla would hate her now. "I'm sorry.." She repeated softly, rocking back and forth, while glancing around. The atmosphere felt heavy. Her heart was heavy with guilt and that feeling never goes away when you know you've done something wrong. She didn't want to lose Kyla. -

Realizing that she was never one to run, Kyla knew she had to go back inside. She would just lock herself in her room for until she found somewhere to stay. She didn't reallt have anyone besides Devin, but there was a girl at her job who she could stay with for a few days. She sighed, wiped her face, and walked back into the apartment. -

Devin didn't dare look at Kyla, feeling that if she did, she would lash out at her once again. She kept her eyes locked on the floor, blinking once in a while. "You hate me, don't you?" Devin muttered, a hateful tone in her voice. Sometimes her words could be as sharp as knives, stabbing deeper and deeper into someone until they couldn't take it. But Devin would never use such words at Kyla, not even I'd she were mad. -

Kyla looked at Devin, curled up in a ball. "I could never hate you" she said, her voice gentle. She hated that she hurt Devin. The only person who was always there for her, no matter what, and she messed it up. "I- I could never hate you, Devin." She moved toward the girl and sat on the edge of the couch, putting her head in her hands. -

Devin could feel herself shaking. She didn't know whether to believe Kyla or not, since she'd just so randomly lashed out at her. Devin sniffled, wiping her eyes, and looking over at Kyla. "B-but.." Devin stuttered, unable to speak once again. The tears came back and she sobbed loudly. "I'm sorry, okay?!" She shouted, "I'm sorry that I was too stupid to realize, okay?! Just.. I need some time.." -

Kyla nodded. "I'm sorry I yelled at yu, Devin. I- I didn't mean to hurt you." Tears fell down her cheeks "I'm sorry" She got up and started towards her room. "I'll.. give you space" -

Devin closed her eyes, not wanting to look at Kyla anymore. She felt extremely hurt and she felt as if all of this was her fault. To see your friend, struggling, and not be able to help them can really burden someone. "Please... I can't handle being screamed at anymore," Devin whispered, her words being interrupted by sobs.
