Lovino sighed disdainfully, glancing around the set. Of course he was excited to be starring in what promised to be an amazing movie. But... the topic itself made the Italian a litle squeamish. The director spotted him then, and waved him over with a smile. Lovino moved closer, arching an eyebrow. "What?" He asked sharply. The director continued smiling, unfazed. He, like everyone else, was well aware that the young actor had quite an attitude. "We're just waiting for Antonio to get here," he informed Lovino, who sighed and nodded. Antonio Fernandez Carriedo, young and Spanish and undeniably attractive. At least, that's what the tabloids said. Lovino himself just couldn't see it. Although he'd have to, at least when the cameras were rolling...

Sorry the replies will take a while I have to do my chores :c
Antonio knew he was late to get to the studio, but he wanted to make sure he looked nice. So he had spent some extra time to shower, and style his hair, and iron his button-down. Finally, he got out the door, and twenty minutes later, he arrived at the studio. With a grin, he stepped into the studio, and announced, "I'm here! Sorry I'm late!" -
no problem! although I might disappear soon, sorry if I do! my connection's really bad)
Lovino jumped a little when the door suddenly swung open, revealing the same man he'd been fretting about all morning. The Italian narrowed his eyes, shuffling back a few paces, but the director greeted Antonio more cheerfully, all smiles. "Ah, good morning Antonio! Don't worry about the time. But now that you're here, I was thinking we could shoot the cafe scene first." He gestured to the set, which had been transformed into a small city coffee shop, complete with extras dressed as waiters. Lovino grimaced. This was the scene where their characters first meet. Luckily, his character was much like himself, not warming up until later in the script. He cringed again, dreading the day they'd have to film the more intimate bits. -
Kay~
"Good morning," Antonio greeted back, looking around. Everything seemed very nice and professional, and he was more than just excited to get started working. "That sounds perfect," he agreed, nodding to the director. "Is that Lovino?" He asked himself quietly, and when he realized it was, he greeted him, too. "Hi, Lovino! I'm so excited to work with you." -
Lovino scowled in response, hesitantly offering a tiny nod. "Hands to yourself unless we're filming, got it?" He asked, turning aside before he could answer and stepping onto the set, casting a quick glance at the greenscreen behind the window frame, where a city backdrop would no doubt be added in later. Lovino slid into the chair of an empty table for two and sighed softly, listening to the director finally getting down to business, barking orders and calling 'action!' as the camera lenses focused in on the Italian. He lifted an empty cup to his lips, pretending to absorbed in the newspaper in front of him. He waited for Antonio to slide into the seat across from him, flirting from the very beginning.
-
Antonio smiled, and laughed a little awkwardly. "I wouldn't," he assured him, feeling a little insulted that Lovino would think that he would do that. But then, he'd heard from the director that Lovino may be a little uncomfortable with it. He went up to the set as well, and when his time came, he walked onto the scene. Holding a cup of coffee, at first, his character paid no attention to Lovino's. But then, he came back peddling back into the shot, and sat down right across from him. Legs crossed, grinning, he said, "Hi."
-
Lovino glanced up, offering the slightest hint of a smile and a small 'hi' of his own before glancing back down at his newspaper, hoping to politely inform this stranger that he wasn't interested. Inside, Lovino's emotions churned furiously, not quite sure how to react with Antonio smiling at him like that. It looked like he really was hoping to score the Italian's phone number. It was unnerving. Well, at the very least he was a good actor.
-
Antonio always followed his lines exactly, but he liked to put his own bit of emotion into everything. He clasped his hands together, and leaned forward, trying to read off of the newspaper. "Reading something interesting?"
-
Lovino pursed his lips and glanced up with a small, resigned sigh, realizing that this stranger wasn't going to give up any time soon. "Not really." He answered with a shrug, setting the paper down. "Can I help you?" he asked quietly. Unfortunatley (or maybe fortunatley) Lovino's character was more quiet and shy than irritable, so as much as he wanted to tell Antonio to stop staring at him like he was an object, he had to stay quiet, keeping an innocently curious expression on his face.
-
Antonio saw Lovino set down the paper, and smiled. At least he was being paid attention to. "No, I just wanted to meet you. My name is Antoni- Oops! Sorry..." He looked apologetically towards the cameras, as he was supposed to introduce himself as Santiago. "Do we have to start over, si?"
-
Lovino stared at him, looking somewhat scandalized. For the briefest of moments it had really seemed as though Antonio actually was the one staring at him like that, not Santiago. "Yeah, let's try that again." The director called. Lovino kept quiet, picking up his newspaper again a hoping Antonio would make his gaze less... predatory this time. Ugh, if he was this uncomfortable now, he had no idea what he'd do when they had to kiss.
-
"Okay," Antonio hummed, and got up from his seat. When the cue was started again, he did exactly what he was supposed to do- walk past, come back, sit down. This time, he started with, "Hi there, what are you reading?"
-
Lovino once again glanced up and set his paper down on the table. "Nothing interesting," he answered quietly. "...Can I help you?" He was acutely aware of all the cameras being pointed at them, but kept his practiced gaze on Antonio, curious and a bit naive. The script was very well written, but he wished his character wasn't quite so innocent sometimes. It made him feel childish.
-
"No," Antonio answered, looking back at the Italian's eyes with a smile. "I just thought I'd like to meet you. My name is Santiago," he stated, getting it right this time.
