The sun. The bright, bright sun shined down on Faeryn's lifeless body. Grass and ferns tickled her face and arms, and it entangled itself in her red hair. Her pale skin seemed even more pale in the noon sunlight and her green eyes burst open as she woke up. As Faeryn became aware of her surroundings, she realized that she was in a bunch of grass, not too far away from where a sandy beach was at. Tall palm trees loomed over her head as she sat up and looked around, her head pounding. She came to the slow conclusion that she was on an island, and she was alone with no memory of how she even got there in the first place. "Oh god," Faeryn muttered with a shaky voice. -
The suns bright light shined down on Kayne as he laid motionless upon the wet sand of the shores. The water from the ocean came up to his ankles submerging them into the water. Kaynes spiky hair went out in all directions as he slowly opened his blue eyes to see a blinding light shine down. He squinted his eyes as he say upright in the water's and held his left-hand lightly upon his forehead "high" he said as he started to look around. In the near distance he saw a line of pine trees and a bit of water, like a small make, behind them. "Where an I? Howd I get here?" he said. He could not remember What had happened," last thing I know ones a on the boat sailing westward." he said as he looked at the line of pine trees before him.

(Omg thank you for the long response :D )
Slowly, Faeryn stood up in the wet grass and she looked around. The jungle like forest that she was very close to seemed dark and ominous, a place crawling with bugs of all sorts; things she absolutely hated. A shallow sort of fear began to settle deep within her chest as she took a few steps away from the jungle and walked towards the sandy beach shore. Faeryn couldn't remember anything, and her head was pounding with pain. It was as if there was some sort of carpenter in her head trying to fix her mental statement. Her pale hands were shaking like crazy and her knees were weak. Faeryn didn't know what was wrong with her, and she ended up collapsing on the sandy beach shore as she got closer to the waves. "Where am I?" she asked herself. She could feel tears about to stream down her face, and crying was the last thing she wanted to do. What if someone else was on the island with her? -
Kayne slowly came to his feet and stood there in the 21st water with the waves crashing lightly against his skin, like rain. He turned towards the line of pine trees and sighed "it's a good place to start" he said as he slowly stepped through and out the water into the try sans laying before the pine trees. As he stepped out he shivered as a strong gust of wind blew by into him."what is this place? An island," he asked as he held his hand on his forehead to block the Sun and walked into the cool and gentle shade provided by the pine trees.

"What the hell?" Faeryn muttered as she slowly stood back up, regaining her balance. Faeryn slowly did a 360 to get a good look at her surroundings. Ocean, palm trees, ferns, and sand. Lots and lots of sand. Other than that, the island seemed to be abandoned by anyone who was on it before. A fearful sound escaped Faeryn as she began to walk around in circles. She was becoming hysterical, fearing everything that was around her like it was going to kill her. "Hello!" Faeryn called out in fear. "Somebody! Please! Help me!"
What was she doing? What if the people on the island, if there was anyone, where there to hurt her? She had just called out for them! So that's when Faeryn began to run along the shoreline. She didn't care where she was going, along as she would be safe, but little did she know she was running right towards Kayne. -
Kayne reached the pine trees As he slowly stepped into their shade. He walked under the largest one he found which seemed to be about fifty feet high. Kayne wondered if he was alone on the island as he did a 180 and leaned his back upon the tree to think. He looked up to the sky and saw the Sun still high up in the sky shining brightly upon the ground around him. "Maybe someone will come" he said as he slowly stretched his arms out ahead of himself. 'remember, keep strong no matter wgat,' he said to himself trying to raise his confidence a bit.

Bump before I go to bed)

(Sorry for taking so long)
Soon enough, Faeryn came around Kayne's area, but she wasn't paying attention to the palm trees, so she missed the teenaged boy. Faeryn had to stop running; her head was pounding to badly to run for long periods of time. She didn't remember the last time she ate or drank anything; or remembered anything at all for that matter. A sudden wave of dizziness came over her again and Faeryn fell to her knees in the sand. To keep herself in her right mind she dug her fingers deep into the hot sand as she looked around, struggling to breathe. "No, no, no, please," she begged silently. "I want to go home. I want to remember. Please, please, please." -
(It's okay)
Kayne looked back down from the shining sky towards the blue, large ocean waves which came up seven feet high at times. The sunlight still reflected off the ocean into his eyes, nearly blinding him greatly. Out of the sight of his periferal vision he saw a figure in the distance. "Am I not alone?" he asked hmself as he slowly stood to his feet and squinted his eyes to see a better view. He saw the figure start digging into the sand from afar."Hey!" he shouted trying to get it a attention," are you okay?" he asked as he started a slight walk at a Brian pace in the direction of the figure he has seen. -
Frozen. That's how Faeryn felt when she heard a male voice call out for her; or at least she thought they were calling out for her. Faeryn looked in the direction of the voice and she saw a boy around her age, probably a little older than her, walking towards her. She quickly stood up and stayed there, frozen in fear and not knowing what to do. Should she run? Was he going to hurt her? Or was he an allie? He seemed strong, and could be of very good help and use to her, and maybe she could be of use to the boy as well. She knew how to build stuff and cook and she recognized eatable plants very well. Those were some of the few things she was able to remember. "Who are you?" Faeryn called out alarmed. Even though he could help her, what if he had other plans in mind?

Kayne looked to the girl who from how she looked seemed a couple years younger than himself. 'seems I'm not alone after all' he thought to himself as he approached the girl still at a distance from her. "Are you okay?" he asked in a bit of a yell wanting to make sure she was not in pain and doing well. He kept to his brisk pace going towards the ocean, I'd this a good thing finding her? Is she harmful any?' he thought repeatedly in his head as he finally said'only one way to find out' and he kept going to her until he was approximately ten feet away from her.
