After she finished, the inevitable questions started. She tried answering them as best she could, willing the bell to ring. Maybe it had been a bad idea to not hide them. But, rabbit ears were hard to hide. And it was so uncomfortable. -
If only class would resume or end. Either option seemed better that what he was currently hearing. As soon as the bell rang, he was out of his seat and headed for the door. The schedule was set up so that they had half of their classes in longer blocks, which meant that lunch was next.

(Class periods are longer, so there are fewer classes in a day. I just don't want to write so many classes)

She headed to her locker, to put her things up and get her lunch. She brought her own, because in all honesty school lunches are pretty gross. It wasn't anything amazing, just a sandwich and a couple sides.
She headed to the cafeteria, planning to either find a table alone or a seat outside. -
He dropped some of his belongings off at his locker, then headed to the cafeteria. He almost always bought a lunch, and today was no exception. Grabbing the least disgusting of foods and a drink, he paid then quickly went to find a table. The only empty seat was next to the girl from earlier, and Charlie had absolutely no desire to sit next to her. She probably noticed that he was staring, but it really didn't matter. He walked out of the cafeteria in hopes of finding somewhere to eat on his own.
