Oliver ended up awaken a little later than he usually would that morning. He was extremely tired last night for whatever reason. He yawned and rubbed his eyes lazily, glancing at the demon who was still asleep. Knowing that it was his job to wake him up, Oliver shook him a little bit, muttering "Wake up," quietly.
-
During the night, Douglas had slowly slid down to the point that his arms were wrapped around the human's tummy. His mouth had slid away from his skin, his full horns gently pressing into Oliver's back instead. He squeezed him and let out a soft growl at the attempt to wake him. He'd rather cuddle for a while than face the world outside of the soft bed. "No."
-
SCREAMS I am so sorry for making you wait so long
Oliver didn't really noticed the horns until he shifted a little and even then they didn't bother him all that much. He narrowed his eyes when he heard the soft growl and was squeezed but didn't resist. "But I'm hungry and want food," he whined as if he were the master. He realized his mistakes after he said it and frowned. "Sorry, didn't mean that.." He muttered, snuggling up against the demon as he yawned. -
He pressed closer to the human, straightening out a bit then moving to fit up against his servant perfectly. It took a few minutes for Douglas to process the words. "If you want to eat," he murmured drowsily, "then we should. Let's... head downstairs." His sentence was broken by a yawn. -

just reread all of this
Oliver sighed, giving a small nod. "I suppose we might as well.." He removed himself from the demon's arms and crawled out of the bed, stretching a bit when he was finally standing. "Would you like me to go ahead and change into my servant clothes?" His lack of shirt and gray sweatpants that hung low on his hips didn't seem very appropriate for a working servant, even thought it might be visually appealing. "Thank you for staying with me last night..I won't ask that of you anymore, I promise." The human said with a frown, realizing it was probably an inconvenience to the demon for him to sleep with the human. -
"Doesn't matter," he replied with another yawn, slowly crawling out of the bed as well. Douglas waited until the human was out of the way before stretching, due to the ridiculous length of his tail. He was too groggy and his vision was too poor for him to be able to actually see Oliver clearly, but from what he could see, he looked pretty cute. He wandered out of the room in search of his glasses.
-
Oliver made sure to stay out of the demon's way as he stretched, not wanting to get hit with his tail. It was really long but didn't really make him look that much less human. Oliver had to agree that Douglas looked a lot better than most of the people he had seen when he was auctioned off. He couldn't even imagine staying with someone with tentacles and sharp claws. Oliver walked over to the closet, deciding to leave his sweatpants on but throw on the servant shirt, the material fixing itself so it fit the man perfectly. After arching his back and letting it make a cracking sound, he left the room.
-
He found his glasses and headed downstairs, standing in the living room for a moment. Douglas walked over to the door and opened it, getting the day's newspaper and tossing it on the coffee table. He turned and looked as Oliver came downstairs, his tail swishing back and forth out of habit. It knocked over a stack of books on the floor, but he didn't seem to notice. "Morning. Good choice," he commented, noting the boy's addition of a shirt. "What were you thinking of for breakfast?"
-
Oliver gave a small shrug at the question, running his fingers through his messy hair. He slowly picked up the books that had fallen over and set them back in their place, shoving his hands in the pockets of his sweatpants. "I can make whatever you want me to make, if that's what you'd like." He stretched his arms a bit, letting his bones pop a bit before returning his hands to his pockets. "Anything you had in mind..?"
-
"No, I don't have anything in mind," he replied, reaching for the paper and sitting down at the table to read it. He took a moment to peek over at Oliver, inspecting his butt as he picked up the books. It was interesting how easily the two fell into a servant and master system, despite the human's protests from before. He reluctantly looked back to the open paper, skimming over most of the articles. There seemed to be little of interest, except for uprisings in Fifth Circle. "We're not going out today," he told Oliver, his decision made instantly. It was best to avoid the angry demons there, especially with their tendency to spill into Seventh Circle and attack whoever they could.
