i have a few start up settings here we could use, but feel free to add suggestions even if you aren't joining!
1. we are a crew of pirates looking for the treasure called the "one piece"
2. we are all separate people who aren't pirates or who are just starting up as pirates, who will all eventually run into each other and (optionally) form a pirate crew.
3. we are all war lords of the sea, on our own as individuals with our own motives.
i feel like you'll be smart enough to be able to generate your own character sheet, but i'll happily provide one if needed. -
May I join?
And I think that #1 or #2 are the best options. -

name: "firhawk" pheon scorzoco
age: 28
gender: male
sexual interest: straight, but isnt interested in being in a relationship at the moment.
weapons: two long spears attached to each other at the back ends.
devil fruit ability: power of the phoenix fruit. he has the power to create wings like a phoenix. (this is not limited to being just on his back. he can spawn multiple wings of any size, the only drawback being that the larger the wings, the more he strains his body.
personality: fearless, strong, as well as stubborn. he isn't one to change his mind once he decides on something. he often shuns help from others, but its only because of his relationship with his father.
other/backstory: the strongest and most skilled warrior in his tribe, firhawk is a proud tribal warrior of the shandians. as a kid, firhawk was a weak boy who had no sense of courage. as a result, his father, the most powerful shandian warrior at the time, always frowned down upon him for it. one day, a crew of powerful blue sea pirates attacked, and, in the heat of battle, his father was killed. scared for his life, firhawk hid inside the enemy ship in a panicking frenzy. during his hiding and after hours of intense battle, he got hungry and found a large fruit in a bag. thus, he ate it and gained his powers. after the war ended, the pirates were killed and sunk into the sea, a funeral held for firhawks dad soon after. since then, firhawk swore that he would grow stronger and become a man just as great and powerful as he was, if not greater. now, hes left his shandian village in search of more ways to become stronger, leading him to the blue sea to find answers and improve himself. -
Name: Elise (pronounced Eh-Leese) Noon
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Weapons: A rapier that she keeps in its sheath, attached to her belt. She also carries a flintlock pistol in a holster attached to the other side of her belt. She carries around a small knife for cutting things as well.
Devil's Fruit/Power: The Guar-Guar fruit. It allows the user to make an area (a bit more than a squared foot) of their skin into an extremely strong shield. The appearance of the skin won't change, however, so it's hard to tell when it's used. The problem is that you can only use it in one area of your skin at once, so it's harder when fighting multiple people. Also, it's not very good against someone with a gun.
Personality: She's kind, and tries to give people a hand when they need it. She usually tries to stick up for herself, and for her store and father. She's fairly patient.
Backstory: Elise was born into a blacksmith's family. Her mother died after her birth, and Elise's father was a blacksmith, so creating and repairing weapons and armour is all that she can remember doing. When she was eight years old, a customer paid with something other than money. The customer claimed that it was worth more than the amount that the weapon was sold for, and that he didn't need it anymore. Elise's father had immediately hid the item away from Elise. Curious, Elise searched for it in her spare time and eventually she found it. It was a fairly large, oddly coloured fruit. Not understanding what it was, Elise ate it, and gained her powers, and her weakness to water. Now, Elise helps her father at their shop. But she wants to explore the world outside of her too-familiar town, and maybe find some new, undiscovered metals and materials.
Other: She looks younger than she is, so she's usually treated that way. -

Um...Maybe I could make a shy, singer girl who will serve as the cook? I was thinking something like, her Devil's Fruit power makes it so that her songs have a greater effect on her surroundings. So, as an example, she could possibly put someone to sleep or other stuff like that? I don't know...) -
you mean like jigglypuff? XD by the way, you do know you dont have to have a demon fruit power for each character, right?)
