Possibly...? I'm not that informed on Pokemon...
I know. But it's fun to create them. I might not use a Devil's Fruit power for her, though... I don't know. I'll stick with the shy, singer part though. Maybe she could take the part of both musician and cook? Because apparently, a musician is one of the most important parts of a pirate crew.) -

Sorry! I haven't had a chance to post. My weekends have been annoyingly busy lately. I'll get started on my second character.

Name: Carina Lacine
Nickname: Rina
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Weapons: A flintlock rifle and two flintlock pistols. Most times she shoots regular shots, but sometimes she shoots more unique shots. These shots can contain drugs, or have other effects as well. She's also knowledgable in gunpowder uses.
Personality: She is shy, and she usually backs down from arguments very quickly. She has a somewhat low self esteem, and she doesn't take insults very well. If she gets to know a person, she will open up to them.
Backstory: Carina grew up in a small village that was fairly separate from other places. There wasn't a very large population, maybe 150 people or so. She lived with her parents in a small house, and Carina was the liveliest in her household. Her father was a hunter, and her mother made and mended clothes. Rina would help out every once in a while. She would make clothing deliveries to people, and occasionally she would help to mend clothes. But when she was about 12 years old, her father sustained a bad injury when he was attacked by an animal while hunting. He became paralyzed and more prone to sickness, and had to stay in bed. Rina's mother became easily panicked after that, and she rarely made clothes anymore. Rina temporarily took up hunting in her father's stead, and that's when she developed her skill with guns, and when she discovered her skill in song, and music playing. She would often sing or play her father and mother to sleep. Eventually, money began to be a problem in the family, and there was beginning to not be enough to live. So Rina made plans to travel to a major city and earn some money. When she was wondering how, her father suggested music. Once she made it to the city and attempted to earn money with her music, she was constantly upstaged and outshone by others, and her self esteem and liveliness shrunk. She decided to work at the local inn, in exchange for food and a place to rest, and music was reduced to something she did in her free time. Any extra money she made was immediately sent back home.
Other: She learned how to create some drugs by watching the doctor that would come by often in the years that her father was injured and got sick. However, she can't create extremely potent ones, and she can mess up pretty badly when making them.
After the accident, her mother stopped cooking, and her father was unable to cook, so Rina was forced to learn. She eventually began to become proud of her cooking as she got better.
(I was a bit worried that Carina would be a bit too much like Skoova... So I dulled down her abilities a bit, and made her a slightly more upgraded ranged fighter.
And I apologize for the huge backstory.) -
its okay. and what if skoova was the doctor that came by often in the years? XD reunited at last, eh?
and its okay. it provides depth for the character. which is always good. -
That's a really cool idea. Sure, lets do that~
Oh, okay. Good.) -

Elise reached up and pulled a sheathed sword from one of the higher racks in their smithy. She handed it to the man standing in front of the counter, and collected the payment from him. The man had ordered a custom weapon, and had even brought in his own metal to work with. Elise had made the sword herself, and he was pretty proud of it. Once the man exited, Elise began to straighten up swords and other bladed weapons around the room.
Carina frantically greeted a young group of people as they entered the inn. She then helped them to check out a room, and she handed them the keys. Rina mentally scolded herself. She had to work on her sociability. Though, she told herself that constantly since travelling to the city, but she couldn't shake the nervous shyness that she had gained shortly after arriving at the city. -

firhawk frowned down on a pirate, one who was begging for his life. "pitiful... you should know better than to pick a fight with one from the shandora tribe. now... you shall pay the price!" firhawk stabbed the pirate in each of his shoulders, the man screaming in pain and agony before firhawk sprouts small fire wings on the tips of his spears, burning through the mans skin, eventually burning him alive. "hmph... well, thats the last of them. the whole lot of them weren't even a challenge. are blue sea people really this weak?" says firhawk, looking around him for anyone else who might still be alive. but there was nothing more but a bunch of torn, burnt corpses on a now empty pirate ship, leaving firhawk all by himself again.

"hm... yes, aha, i see! ooh, yes, that might make itself useful some time into the future... oh... hm..." skoova talked to himself while observing and admiring some rare ingredients shown off in a display, his snout pressed against the glass in interest. while talking to himself, he would get mostly negative reactions from the people who walked by him. suddenly, a little girl tugged at skoovas cloth cloak, grabbing his attention. "hm? oh! hello little girly! what is it that you wish to grasp my attention for?" the little girl giggled. "you look funny, mister! you look like a lizard!" skoova chuckled lightly and smiled. "ah, yes. i suppose i do look like one don't i? but those lizard are a mischievous bunch, let me tell you! you see, one time, when i was minding my own business..." as skoova began telling his story, the girls mother came up and pulled the little girl back. "stay away from that, honey. it's disgusting." the little girl whined in dismay. "but mooooom!" the mother put her finger to her daughters lip and told her to shush before glaring at skoova. "i dont want to see you near my daughter again, freak!" skoova looked at the woman and snickered. "ah. my bad. i suppose you'd rather meet when your daughter isn't around so we can get straight to the dirty stuff, eh? i like the way you think!" the woman gasps in disgust and dragged her daughter away, skoova waving goodbye to the girl. -
After a few more minutes, another girl came and took over for Rina. Rina helped with room clean up and cooking, but those jobs were currently being handled by others. So she was switched over to welcoming duty. Whenever someone would come towards the inn with the intent of entering the inn, Rina would greet them and open the door. It wasn't a difficult job, but there were a few problems with Rina handling it. The first was that her greeting was almost always rushed and frantic, or quiet and awkward. On top of that, she usually fumbled with the door. It wasn't her strong suit.
Elise was rearranging the display windows. She had to switch out the swords with the spears in one window, and she had to switch the axes with the knives in the other. She would then start repairing an axe that a pirate had brought in earlier. Most other stores wouldn't let a pirate shop in their shops, but Elise had grown up in a household that accepted pirates, so she didn't fear them. -
firhawk sighed and looked down at the sea off the side of the main deck, staring down on the boat he was previously sailing in before he was harassed by the now dead crew of pirates. "hm..." taking a moment to address his situation, he sits down on the ships railing. lets see... its getting dark, and i wont make much progress to the nearest village (if thats what they even call it down here on the blue sea) on my small boat, if you can even call it that. its more of a slightly larger canoe, if anything... this boat is much bigger anyways, and it probably travels much faster... and i can just get rid of the stench of burnt flesh by just throwing the corpses off into the sea... having his decision made, firhawk pushes himself up from the wooden railings and cracks his neck. "i'll be taking this ship, then." and with that, be begins hauling the burnt corpses into the sea before setting sail to the nearest 'village'.

skoova squinted his eyes as he looked up at the sun after the little girl went out of sight, and sighed. looking back down, he took out a custom made map of the place he made in his previous travels to see if there were any inns nearby. he exclaims "aha! oh yes, thats the one where that one girl worked at... maybe i can find a room for the night there..." rolling the map up and stuffing it into a small satchel, he began heading to where the other little girl worked, looking around at the women he passed by time from time, giving them perverted smiles and gestures, only to laugh at their reactions. -
Fifteen minutes. That was the amount of time until Carina would help in the kitchen to prep the meals for the night. But in the meantime, she would be stuck making awkward greetings. She was almost never acknowledged, so it was hard to continue to try to greeting people. Rina opened to door again for an older couple. "Welcome," she mumbled.
Stretching a bit after finishing arranging the weapons and armour, Elise began to walk back towards her work area which was in a smaller stone walled area in the back of the store to work on the axe. She turned to grab it, but it wasn't there. She glanced around frantically for a few seconds before heading out through the back door. She entered a large, stone shack - her father's work area. She found him working on that very axe. "Jeez," Elise began, "if you're going to do it, tell me."
Her father shrugged. "I figured that I could do this while you went shopping for dinner."
Elise sighed. "Fine, but you have to watch the store while I'm gone. You're cooking, right?"
"I plan on living to my next birthday, so yes," her father replied with a playful smirk on his face.
