"So personality doesn't matter then. That makes us both liars. I didn't think anyone would even talk to me. No one usually does. I just wanted to be who I actually am. Cross dressing lets me do that." She began scribbling in her notebook again once the teacher walked in.
-
"It's not just cross dressing if you're pretending to be a guy," he hissed at her, glaring down at his notebook. "No one would have talked to you if you didn't have to make yourself hot."
-
Ash squinted. "I wrapped my chest and wore baggy jeans. How is that hot? And does it matter? I prefer acting like a guy and want to be one. If I can't live so that I'm comfortable with myself, what's the point in living?"
-
"It just is, alright? You don't even know how much of an effect just that has on me," he said, licking his lips slightly as he eyed the younger. "I get that, princess, but I wish you would have told me," he said quietly, nibbling on his bottom lip.
-
Ash nodded. "I know. I was about to, remember?" She thought back to the time in the office when the receptionist ruined it. She sighed and went back to scribbling. She was actually already done with the idea, but she didn't know what to say, so she was just drawing the teacher.
-
Arturo didn't say anything after that. Deciding they were done talking, he took out his ear buds and phone and turned his music up all the way. He sung some Christina Perri song to himself, not really caring who heard as he flipped through his notebook. "And all along I believed I would find you..Time has brought your heart to me..I have loved you for a thousand years..I'll love you for a thousand more.." He sung to himself, finally finding a blank page in his notebook.
-
Ash sat back, proud of her work. She mouthed the words along with Arturo's singing, slightly embarrassed that she knew all the words. She pulled out the textbook meant for this class and flipped through it.
-
Arturo had nothing better to do then sing along to the songs on his playlist and write down stupid things in his notebook, so that's just what he did for the time being.
-
Ash couldn't take much more if it, and she didn't want to be out of line and touch Arturo, so she wrote something in the notebook and slid him the note.
Are we going to talk about the project? -
Arturo glanced at the note before taking out his multi-colored pen.
Depends on whether or not you're done being hot and breaking my fragile little heart into tiny pieces that can't be put back together.
He took his time drawing the broken heart and the grave before sliding the notebook back to Ash. -
Ash groaned and slammed the notebook shut, then slammed her head against it. She hated it being like this and had to take shaky breaths to calm herself.
-
Arturo had to hold in a laugh as he took out one of his earbuds and raised an eyebrow at her. "Are you okay, princess? You seem like a damsel in distress, but I won't be saving you, because there is no gay in dis-nay." He remarked with a smirk.
-
Ash had no idea what he was talking about, so she ignored him and kept her face where it was. She was rather comfy here, and didn't really feel like moving.
-
Arturo let out a loud laugh when the girl ignored him. "It's from a book I read a while back. A cute little gay love story.." He ranted with a smile on his face. "It was so adorable, I have always wanted a love story like the one in that book.."
-
Ash didn't hear a thing because she fell asleep. The four hours of sleep was taking its toll, and she had passed out quickly. Not being able to sleep or breathe on her face, she had tilted her head slightly so she was able to breathe. Being dozey, she didn't notice that she had turned towards Arturo. Within seconds, she was happily asleep.
