Hope sat quietly as the bus he was on slowly approached the town of Croach." Why am I coming here anyway?" He said to himself as the bus came to a stop. A short blonde girl got on the bus, Hope stared as she passed him at a brisk pace. " Croach, what a name." He said silently with a slight chuckle under his breath.
The bus slowly continued on towards Croach at a faster pace than before. Hope closed his eyes as the wind blew through the window onto his face giving him a slight chill. -
Jae walked up the long road to Mort's house, she closed her eyes as she walked, she heard a motorcycle coming down the road. Jae sighed, "Hi Mort." She said as it stopped.
"What are you doing?"
"Going home."
"Okay just remember he doesn't know about you so,"
"Don't come out till you you tell him or he stumbled across me, am I correct?"
"I'm going to the bus station." Jae was going to say have fun but she didn't and she kept walking towards the house. -
The bus passed a sigh reading" welcome to Croach. " Hope stared at the sign as he passed by it.
" So this is Croach." Hope said s the bus pilled slowly into the station. Hope stood up and exited off the bus. A breeze blew and hope got another chill.
" Uncle Mort, where are you?" Hope said as he walked off the platform.
( I'll be back tomorrow, got to sleep) -

Jae rummaged around in the kitchen for a while finally she remembered where she hid the bag of chips she bought. She grabbed it along with three cans of Dr.Pepper from the fridge. She bolted up the stairs and into the attic where her room was, she fell onto the bed and turned on the TV. Knowing that they only had bad channels she turned on Netflix and put on Bones. She opened her chips and a can of soda and watched the show. -
Hope walked towards the black road as he saw a light coming his way. It quickly neared him and came to a halt. " Mort." Hope said as the man took off the helmet.
Mort waited for hope to get on the bike with him. Hope climbed onto the bike and Mort started for his house. -
Jae ate her chips and half watched the show, half listened for the motorcycle. She realized she left the door open but she didn't really care. She looked up when the show stopped a loading sign circle around and around then, the can't connect to the internet came up. She sighed and turned off the TV and rolled over on to her back and starred up at the ceiling.

Hope and Mort quickly approached Mort's house on the bike. Hope held on tightly so as to not fall off the bike onto the road. Hope was balancing his bags with one arm holding on with the other.
" Uncle Mort, why do I have to live with you?"
Mort just kept focused on the road and neared his home.
Hope looked down to the ground as they headed down the road." Wonder what it'll be like here." Hope said quietly to himself as the bike came to a stop at Mort's house. -
Jae tried to stay awake but it was hard, shed been doing nothing for what seamed like forever. She realized it been months since she'd gone on a shift. Jae's eyes closed for a moment painfully real images danced across her mind of her and her family, luckily a motorcycle brought her back. She rolled off her bed and sat against the bed, she took a book of the top a pile of books and started reading.

When the bike stopped Hope and Mort slowly got off of the bike. Mort placed his helmet onto the handles of the bike.
" So this is where you live uncle Mort?" Hope asked.
" Yes" Mott said as they started for the door into the house.
" OK." Hope said following his uncle to the house. -
Jae sighed and read the book slowly, she flipped the page. She read the next bit and flipped the page again. Her eyes got heavy and she wobbled, she was just about to fall into a stack of books when she hit her hand against the floor, but her shoulder still hit it causing about ten hard cover books to crash against the ground.

Hope and Mort walked into the house. When Hope walked in he heard something fall from above him.
" what was that?" He asked his uncle.
" its nothing, just ignore it." Mort said back to his nephew.
Hope decided to just ignore the sound and followed Mort to an empty table and he took a seat on the right side of the table. -
Jae felt her heart leap up into her thought when the books fell. She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. She begrudgingly got up and started to fix the books, "You're so stupid, Jae." She said to herself.

Hope placed his bags on top of the table. He reached into the bag and pulled out a sandwich, and started eating it.
" Uncle Mort, where will I sleep?" Hope asked eating the sandwich.
" The couch for the night I guess. " Mort responded.
" OK" hope said s he ate. Hope wondered what the rest of Croach looked like. -
After Jae finished putting the books back she laid down on her bed, she wondered if she could find a way to sneek out and go to Corpp's or something. She shrugged it off and went over to her window, she swung it open. She reached up and grabbed the side of the roof, she held on and stood on the platform just large enough for the balls of her feet. She pulled herself up on to the roof. She stayed there for a while, long enough for the sun to go down. After a while she managed to get back into her room but she knew she made a thump she shrugged it off and fell into her bed and went to sleep.

After eating Hope reached into his bag and grabbed a pillow and blanket. He walked over to the couch and laid his head on the pillow and pulled the blanket over himself.
" goodnight Mort." Hope said as he heard a loud thud." What was tgat.?" He asked.
" probably the wind blew something down. " Mort said turning off the lights.
Hope closed his eyes and fell asleep.
