"Its annoying " Shadow said, jade reached for the black Afghan that was on the couch.

"Can't be too bad, I guess." Rex said looking to the cat.

Jade looked at Rex "Can you get that for me?" She asked pointing to the Afghan, shadow snorted.

Rex nodded to Jade and walked over to it, to pick it up for her.

Jade took the Afghan, and covered herself up "thank you" she said. Shadow rolled his eyes.

Rex nodded to her and smiled. "Welcome." he said quietly.

Jade yawned and slowly drifted off to sleep.
"Pain in the a$$ " Shadow muttered. -
Rex smiled as he watched her, before turning to Shadow, looking to him in silence.

"What, she is!" Shadow protested, jade muttered in her sleep.

"How is she?" Rex asked him after a bit, still looking to him.

"She's whining, being a baby, it's aggravating. Broken ribs or not, she needs to pull her own weight." He said.

"She broke her ribs. You expect her to keep up as she was, like that?" Rex asked glancing to her. "She does why she can for the most part, it seems."

"She'll drag us down" Shadow said.

Rex shook his head. "I don't think so."

Shadow laughed bitterly "she's got to you hasn't she, man she has!" He saidm
