(Are you gonna be the witch I forgot to ask xD)
Charles went about his business, carrying a basket that held the groceries. Bread, cheese, apples, eggs, butter, just the simple things that him and Willace would need for meals for the next few days. It was taking him a while to gather what he wanted, because he had to walk around to a few different shops. -
(Oh god. I can but it's gonna suck. x'D)
Dario was in the back room, rummaging through boxes when he heard the door open and the bell above it ring. He hurried out of the back, plastering a fake smile on his face. "Hi. Welcome to-" He was cut off by the old lady standing there, squinting at him. "It's you! The boy who stole my potions?" Dario eyes widened at the statement, and he laughed. "Potions? You must be crazy, I haven't stolen anything, let alone potions." The old lady walked towards him, shaking a bony finger at Dario. "No. It was you. And you must be punished, boy." Dario was frozen when the old woman stopped a few inches away from him, shaking that finger and pulling something out of her back pocket.
(Question. Ideas on how she turns him into a dog?) -
(Pah it's fine~)
Willace was a little sad when the castle beat him to the tree. The chimney gave out three puffs of black smoke, which the boy took as the demon's sassy statement of 'I win'. The door to the castle opened for him on its own, and with a groan, he went hurrying back inside. In the hearth, atop a pile of logs, a fire was burning. Unlike a usual fireplace, it only burned as one flame, but it was a large one as far as flames went. It was as tall as a man's hand, and as wide as one too. Not to his suprise, it turned- yes, the flame- to face him with green eyes and a flickering blue smile. "I've beat you again!" It exclaimed, then laughed. The door to the castle shut.
(She could throw a vile of liquid on him. Or something like that idk xD) -
The old woman produced a small vile out of her pocket. Dario was about to open his mouth to say something but the woman threw the vile out him. She then ran out of the small shop, laughing. The glass shattered and fell at Dario's feet while the light blue liquid sticker to him, absorbing into his skin. He felt a sharp pain in his arm and legs. Dario felt like he was shrinking and fur began to grow on him along with ears and a big, fluffy tail. The next thing the knew, he was on all fours.

Can he talk as a dog? Or is it like he has to relearn how to talk?) -
Willace sat on a stool in front of the hearth, chatting with the fire demon. They talked about the last girl who's heart Charles had broken, and both of them were quite upset with it. Despite being a 'demon', the little fire was actually quite well-behaved compared to other fire demons. The both of them waited for the wizard to return home, thought they knew he would easily be gona for most of the day.
-
(Oops sorry posted before I replied cx
I was thinking maybe the fire demon can understand him and translate to the wizard but part of his cure is that he can't tell anyone about how he's not really a dog? Or he could just figure out how to talk because charles may work magic~) -
Dario shut his eyes tight, trying to wake up from this god awful dream. He waited for a couple of minutes before realizing this probably wasn't a dream and what was happening was real. When he opened his eyes, his vision was different. Dario only saw shades of blue, yellow, and gray. It was making his head throb. He walked slowly towards the door, getting used to using all four legs, and nudged it open with his nose. Dario trotted through the crowd, looking for the old lady who had done this to him.
(I like the first idea, and then over time Charles will figure it out and save the pup. :) -
Charles heard people starting to get a bit riled up a way down the street, and he saw a woman swinging a parasol in the air. "There is a stray! Someone call for a catcher!" She announced with a look of distaste on her face. Looking towards her, sure enough, Charles saw that a rather large dog had just come out onto the street. Not wanting to bother with the commotion, he turned around, deciding to find a way around the area to get to the shop he needed to go to.
-
Dario was surprised to hear someone call him a stray, and wanted to correct the woman. He opened his mouth to say something, but it came out as a loud bark. Really? You have got to be kidding me right now. Dario ran through the commotion, running towards an area that was full of hills covered in grass. The area looked nice to Dario so he decided to take a walk and see what he could come across.
-
Gilton suddenly stopped talking, his eyes squinting as if he was focusing on something. "There's flesh and blood coming up the hills. Doesn't seem like Charles. But it doesn't seem evil, either." Willace raised an eyebrow, and before Gilton could stop him, he went leaping out the front door to find whatever it was outside.
-
Dario ran up the hill, his new and improved senses smelling someone nearby. He wasn't sure who or what it was, but if it could help him become human again, he wanted to see them. Dario stopped at the top of the hill when he saw what looked to be a castle and someone was standing in front of it. Dario ran towards the strange figure, almost tripping over his own legs on the way there.
(Anything in "Italics' is what he means to say, but is all barks. That sounds confusing. xD) -
Willace's eyes widened when what he saw outside was a dog, seemig to come up from Market Chipping, running towards him. The last time anything from Market Chipping had come towards the castle was when an angry aunt of one of Charles' romances with a broken heart sent a cursed cat to attack Charles. So seeing a dog running up wasn't too good. He tried to outrun the dog to get back to the castle. "Gilton! The door, open it!" He yelled, running towards the door that swung open.
-
Dario continued to run towards the boy, panting as he ran. "Please! Help me! I can't stay like this forever, I just can't. Pleaseeee!" He was annoyed by the fact that whatever he said came out as a bark, but continued to try and speak anyways. "Please!" He had almost caught up to the running boy. He followed him through the open doors, panting.
-
Willace continued to run, throwing open a door to run up a flight of stairs. He stopped, though, when Gilton started shouting. "It means no harm!" The demon called, allowing Willace to sigh in relief and stop running halfway up the stairs. "I don't know what it wants, though," Gilton continued, "but it's got a lot of magic with it. Strong. Gives me an ache."
-
Dario stopped at the bottom of the stairs, wagging his big tail impatiently. He sat down like a normal dog would, looking up at the stairs where the boy had stopped running. When he heard a voice speaking, he turned his head trying to find out where the voice had come from.
