Maddie giggles slightly but nit at Carter but no one knows this -

Scarlette looked at Chris. "We have to go. Come on." she opened her wings and flew toward Mask's domain.

Feeling numb with shock, Chris steadily followed Scarlett.
(Okay, since I canon'd that we're in the Midwest, is Mask in Canada?)) -

Scarlette looked back at them following. "If you need anything, let me know." she said her tone gradually changing. -

He nodded, eyes glazed over. ... This is to good to be true.. Is Kate really there...? Those same thoughts spiraled in his head constantly since he heard that she was alive. -
Scarlette looked at him. "Were getting close." she said looking back at him. She then turned back forward. She sighed and hoped Mask wasn't lying.

Finally snapping out of his trance, his eyes focused and Chris nodded. "Y.. Yeah.." He said rather quietly, continuing the journey North.

Scarlette landed on a marble landing and looked around. "Well were here." she crossed her arms. "Do you have a telepathic connection with Kate?" she looked at Chris.

"There is no need for telepathy." Mask said. He had a metal suit on.

Scarlette jumped. "Give him Kate like you promised." she growled lightly.

"My daughter is away for now, she'll be joining us later this day."

Scarlette looked at him. "Grrrr..."

"Ahh scarlette don't be mad I'm a man of my word I won't hold her here, that's if she wants to leave."

"...Daughter..?" Chris tilted his head slightly, still caught on that word.
