Scarlette turned and watched them. She laughed. "they would make a good couple." she thought.

"W-what?!" He looked at her with wide eyes. "We can die at any moment!" He waved his arms about, exaggerating.

Scarlette looked at Chris and Carter. "The only way we could die is if we got shot down and even if that happend I could heal you." -
"Look," Chris said, looking at the older teen. "You may be healing us, but it doesn't take a degree to know that it drains you more that it heals us."

Scarlette looked at him in suprise. "How do you nkow about that?" she half asked and half hissed.

"Well, you don't hide it as good as you think, for one," he said. "Look, I was learning to become a ER doc, I kinda have to see emotions," He shrugged.

Scarlette looked at him. "A regualar ER doctor wouldn't know." she said harshly glaring at him.

Gunshots were heard from a distance.
"Did you think I would give up that easily!" Said X -
Chris's position turned from casual to threatened in an instant. "Out of everyone... It's.. him?!" He asked, surprise and anger filling his voice. "I thought he was dead!"
(Great. I accidentally made the only human a mutant.)) -
X entered eyesight.
X looked more machine than Human.
"My master wasn't happy with my failure...better not make the same mistake." -
Scarlette looked down. "Well this is great."

"Miss scarlette, Nyx sends her apologies she wanted to be here but she has some daughter and father things to do."

"Oh stuff a duck." she said harshly.

"I'm not gonna hunt anyone for now, I'm here as a messenger, Lord Mask waits you up north, if you show up this ones*points at chris* little sibling will be given back."

Chris's eyes go wide with shock. "Kate...?" He whispers faintly. ".. But.. how..?"
