When the old woman was out of the room, the slipped his headphones and turned the music up full blast. He didn't even hear the woman when she told him dinner was ready, so Mrs.Monstraw had to shake him to get Landon to notice her. Setting the headphones down on the couch, he ate dinner with the old lady in the kitchen and made small talk. "I think I might be out for most of the night clubbing.." He said to her, shoving a piece of salad into his mouth. "Aren't you too young for clubbing, dear?" Landon gave her one of his signature "good boy" smiles. "I might be, but you don't look a day over 18 youself." This made the old woman smile and allow him to go clubbing. After finishing his dinner and reminding the woman to leave a key under the doormat, he grabbed his headphones and started walking towards the club.

Sara closed her closet and opened her window, looking down briefly before climbing out onto the ledge. She closed the window behind her and jumped to 12 ft down to the ground below, landing on her side. She groaned slightly and got up, wiping the dirt off of her leg. She'd jumped out of the window plenty times before, and could now land safely, without a scratch. She looked back at the house before taking off, walking into town.
-
It only took Landon a few minutes to get to the large club in town. He walked up to the bodyguard who was on duty and slipped him a twenty. The bulky man nodded and let Landon inside. There was glitter everywhere, and the place was packed, just like he liked it. Landon pushed through groups of people, making his way to the bar. No one was seated at the bar, everyone had their drinks in hand on the dance floor. Landon took a seat and ordered some whisky, slipping the man a twenty as well because he was underage.
-
The cool summer air felt warm against her skin as she walked, trying to avoid contact with as many people as possible. Although she liked going out at night, it was dangerous, and there were plenty of creeps out and about. She walked past a particularly busy nightclub, and took a double take, her eyes searching for some sort of alternative entrance. She looked quite young for her age, and although she was pretty, there would be no way for her to get in.
-
Landon accepted the bottle of whisky and got up, heading towards the entrance. The bottle was already open, and he took a long sip of it as he walked out of the club. Standing outside was a girl, probably younger than him. He looked at her then nodded towards the door that the same bodyguard was standing by. "Are you coming in? I mean, you look young, but if you're trying to get in, I've got my ways." Landon leaned against the wall of the club, smirking at the girl.
-
She looked at the boy in front of her, then past him to the people inside, a bit surprised at the offer. "That depends, do you want me to?" she asked, eyeing the bottle of whiskey in his hand. At this point, she would of liked to be anywhere but her house, but a place with people and alcohol would do better than Mcdonalds, which was one of the many places prohibited by her parents.
-
Landon laughed softly and extended his free hand to the girl. Being the carefree person he was, he nodded. "Of course. I wouldn't have offered if I didn't, now would I?" He saw her looking at the bottle of whisky in his hand. "Don't worry, I don't get drunk all the time, and I'm not drunk at the moment." He glanced at the bodyguard, who nodded back at him. "He'll let you in."
-
She hesitated a bit before taking his hand. "Ok." she agreed, studying him with cautious eyes. He didn't look all that dangerous to her, compared to the other people walking around. Or, stumbling.
-
Landon gave the girl a small smile and wrapped his hand around hers. He threw the whisky bottle into a trash can outside, then gently pulled the girl into the packed club. There was even more people than before, even more drunks, and even more glitter. The bar was now full of men and women waiting to get tipsy, and there were strippers sliding down poles at the back of the club. Once they were inside, Landon glanced at the girl. "You don't seem like the kind of girl to go clubbing all alone."
-
She moved a bit closer to him when someone stumbled past her, trying to avoid them. The club was crowded and colorful, and the floor was speckled with glitter. She thought about his statement for a bit. It was true, she'd only been to a club 2 times before. "I just go out a lot at night, I'm not particularly picky as to where." she answered.
-
Seeing the girl trying to avoid the drunks, he let go of her hand and wrapped his arm around her small waist gently. He steered he away from large groups of people. He stopped at the edge of the dance floor, where there was only a few people. "Is that so? You seem like the kind of girl who sits at home and reads all her life," He responded, raising his eyebrows.
-
Sara stiffened a bit at his touch, but then relaxed. There were eyes all around, no one would dare try anything. She let out a held in breathe when they were away from the crowd of people. "That's who I was raised to be, not who I am." she responded, looking down at the ground, then back up at him. Her parents had never been very approving of much of anything, they'd never even let her drink tea or coffee, claiming that they were addictive drinks, like a drug.
-
Landon looked down at the girl who was a few inches shorter than him. "Raised to be? What do you mean?" He tilted his head slightly to the right, confused. "So you're saying your parents want you to be something you're not?" Landon thought of his parents who had wanted him to be the perfect Christian son, someone "God" would approve of. That's why he ran away, to get away from that dumb religious crap.
-
She sighed at the question, pressing her teeth together on one side to stay composed, before looking back up at him. "They're Mormons. Really strict..mormons." she admitted. "It's a fun time, really. Church, and gospel music, no....shoulders or soda..." she muttered on.
(If you're religious, I'm not bashing religion or anything, I just watch a lot of World's Strictest Parents.) -
"Fun? To me, that sounds like a living hell." He grinned at her. "I really need to teach you how to have fun. " Before waiting for an answer, he pulled her onto the dancefloor, but kept them away from most people. He turned to her and grinned.
(I'm atheist so xD)
