Ann slumped into a sitting position beside him and reached down into the bathtub to grab the alcohol and gauze she had Lily put there. "Take off your shirt and face away from me."

Landon groaned, but slipped off the shirt he was wearing and turned to face away from Ann. "You really don't have to do this. I'm fine, Ann." That wasn't the complete truth, but he cared more about her than he did for himself.

She rolled her eyes and mumbled an "oh shut up" before wrapping her arms around Landon and undoing his gauze. She made sure she was being gentle and she pulled off the padding. She poured alcohol over a clean washcloth and gently washed Landon's back.

Landon stood still, humming and she did the work. He didn't want to think of how angry Charles would be for him not coming back sooner.

After Ann cleaned it up, she spread the cream over her palms and gently rubbed Landon's back. His wound was closed up enough that she was able to rub right over it, but was very gentle at that bit because there would evidently still be pain. She massaged his cut and the skin around it with the lotion, then washed her hands off and started putting clean gauze on.

Landon tensed when the cream was put right against the wound, seeing as there was still pain. He shifted a little, arching his back slightly to lessen the pain. He stayed still as she finished and got ready to put another gauze pad on.

Ann frowned and gently kissed the back of his shoulder when he arched his back. She went a little gentler and slowly yet firmly wrapped the gauze around Landon. She secured it on his side and gently wrapped her arms around him, resting her forehead on the nape of his neck.

Landon was slightly surprised when she kissed his shoulder, but said nothing of it. He hummed as she wrapped the padding around him tightly. He leaned back into her when he felt the arms wrap around him and her head against his neck. "Charles is gonna kill me."

Ann gently nuzzled him and murmured "mm, why..?"

Landon laughed softly, closing his eyes. "I'm suppost to be in there eating breakfast with him but I'm in here with you. I'd rather stay here, though.."

Ann's face twitched and she frowned. She took exactly two seconds to think before chuckling once. "Already got an excuse. No problem. You'll be fine.." She smiled a little at Landon to ease his mind.

"It better be a pretty good one.." He muttered, smiling. He had completely forgot about Lily for the time being, only thinking about the small amount of space before Ann and himself. "We really need to get out there,though.."

A nodded a little. "It's believable. But yeah, we do..." Her own cuts had been cleaned while she was bathing, and she saw no issue letting the wound breathe for a while. "Will you be able to help me stand up..?" She released Landon and leaned back a little.

"Good. That's all we need, he's pretty gullible anyways. He stood up and set his shirt beside the sink, not bothering to put it back up. He turned and extended both of his hands to Ann.

Ann chuckled a little and swung both her feet outside the bathtub. She smiled and took his hands, using his strength to help pull herself up. "Thanks.." She blushed a little and squeezed his hands.
