Landon turned the television on and started to pretend to pay attention to some movie that was on the flat screen. He rested his feet ontop of the glass coffee table in front of the white couch, sighing. He had taken off his bandages this morning and wondered if Ann needed help with hers. "Do you need me to help change your bandages, Rose?" He had decided to call her the name his father called her, seeing as she hated him now.
Charles found the perfect girl five minutes later. He pulled up in front of the house and got out, pocket knife in his back pocket. He had thrown Maddie's body in the river before he had came, so that was taken care of. He walked up to the meditating girl and stopped in front of her. "Hello." -
Ann temporarily glanced up at Landon, then frowned back down at her plate of food. "If...you don't mind.." She hated Rose, and hated Violet even more. She hated everything. She let her head klunk back onto the leg of the table and sighed.
Without opening her eyes, Katryna straightened slightly and tilted her head. "You're here to take me?" -
Landon got up and walked over towards Ann and sat down next to her. "Can you sit up a bit? It'll make this a hell of a lot easier.."
Charles didn't say anything. He just grabbed the girl's wrist and pulled her off of her feet. -
Ann smiled out of the corner of her mouth and nodded, leaning forward away from the table. She scooted forward a little bit to further make it easier.
Katryna stood up, relenting under his grasp. She brushed herself off with her free hand and looked Charles over. "Hmm. Alright...where are we going?" -
Landon moved and sat behind her so his legs were on either side of her. Landon leaned forward and pulled her shirt
?up just enough so he could pull the gauze off, not any higher than that. He kept one hand against her back so her shirt would stay there as he used his free hand to slowly pull off the bandage.
Charles shrugged and tugged her towards the van, opening the back. "Who knows? Your name is Lilly, by the way." He hummed as he set her in the back of the van then closed the back, climbing into the drivers seat. He wanted all of the girls in his family to be named after flowers, since his wife's name had been Daisy. -
Ann closed her eyes and pulled her knees up, then rested her head there. Wincing a little as the bandage took dried blood with it, she tried to focus her attention on watching Landon's legs. She wasn't sure why, but they seemed more interesting than the carpet.
Katryna nodded at the name "Lilly.. It's nice. What should I call you?" She adjusted in the back to her side-the right side- and put on the seat belt out of habit. She glanced around and noted where they were going. -
Landon took notice when Ann winced ever so slightly. "I'm sorry.." He muttered, and it wasn't just because the bandage he was pulling off was causing her slight pain. It was for everything that had happened yesterday, everything he had done to hurt her. When he was finished, he threw the gauze away and went to the cabinet to grab some more.
"Charles." He cranked up the van and pressed the petal down all the way, flying out of the neighborhood to his home in the middle of nowhere. -
Ann watched him as he left, wondering if it was just her imagination making him seem remorse, or if he actually was. She sighed and rested her chin on her knees, waiting for him to come back.
Lilly nodded and hung on for dear life, because she felt like that's what was happening. She bit her lip and moaned uncomfortably, having never gone so fast and feeling like there was something wrong with it. -
Landon got the gauze pad and walked back over to Ann, sitting behind her in the same position as before. He lifted her shirt up once again as far as the gash goes. He started to wrap it around her tightly, making sure it would stay.
It only took about a half hour to get to his house at the speed they were going. He parked beside Landon's Mustang and opened the door for the girl. "Come now, Lilly." -
Ann moved her knees away from her chest so Landon could wrap her up again. She watched as his hands made their way around her and sighed sadly. "Thank you..."
She nodded, a little pale from the ride, and got out of the car. She looked around and smiled a little. "I-it's nice out here..." -
Landon stopped once the gauze was sure to not come of. He didn't really want to move away from Ann just yet. "You're welcome.." He was about to stand up and forget his thoughts, but decided just to go for it. Leaning forward, he kissed the side of Ann's neck gently.
Charles smiled. "Isn't it? It's very quite and serene out here most of the time. If you don't like being alone, you'll have company." Walking up the front porch, Charles unlocked the door and opened it. He then opened the cellar door and invited the girl in. -
Ann blushed a little and glanced back at Landon. She was about to say something when the cellar door opened. She glanced up in alarm, hoping the blush would abate before Charles or Maggie came. She was prepared to flee if it was the latter.
Lilly nodded and walked through the door. "Nice place to meditate and be alone." She glanced down into the cellar and tilted her head at Charles, looking up at him confusedly. -
Landon stood up and walked over to the stairs. He leaned against the wall, and looked up at the girl that was coming in. She was quite pretty, but she had interrupted Ann and him. Charles put a hand on the girl's back and led her down the stairs. "Lilly, this is my son Landon and this is Rose." He let go of the girl's back and walked up the stairs. "I will be back after work for dinner." He shut the door and locked it.
-
Ann stared at Katryna in confusion. She knew her from school, but they didn't talk much. She stayed where she was on the door and waved at the girl. "Hey. I guess I'm Rose."
Lily looked around and smiled at Charles before looking around. "Uh..hello.." Her face turned red as she spoke to the people she didn't know. -
"Do I like, have to explain the rules to you? To be honest, I think you'll do fine without knowing the rules. I'm sure A-" He stopped himself from saying her name. "..Rose will be happy to tell you everything? Won't you, Rose?" Landon went and stood beside Ann, wrapping a free arm around her waist.
