Travis attempted to continue down that godforsaken road, but alas, the pain of being alone overwhelmed him. Touching the little patch that was covering his healing eye, the blonde mumbled a few words in Latin that he could just barely remember. His tongue did most of the work for him, however, and he was able to finish it while being slightly absent minded.
The blonde shoved his hands into his pockets as he started back down the road. Now, however, there was a glowing light following him. A bright one at that, and it was forming into a certain shape. Minutes later, a beautiful butterfly was floating behind him, lazily fluttering its wings to keep up with him. A smile took over his face as he continued down the road. He wasn't alone now. And that made him slightly happier. He'd have to put the poor thing "away" soon, but for the most part, he had the power of friendship. -
Xic was gently combing his fingers through the fur of the animal in his arms, unmatting its hair as best he could. He was looking out for his destination, the place where he was supposed to meet his fellows. He wondered, would he be the first one there? Or the last? He wasn't sure what to expect. These other undead people could be complete monsters, and Xic would have to work with them. Then again, the soul collector didn't look very normal either. So he pushed on, nearing the meeting place with every step.

Calm down Erin, Erin thought to herself. A deep breath filled her lungs as she did her best to calm herself down. As she walked along, the crowd of people seemed to thin out a bit, and she could easily spot every detail of the people around her. The veil of uneasiness lifted just a bit off of her shoulders and someone caught her attention. A man around her age was walking along the streets, with a furry critter in his arms; but the cat wasn't what caught Erin's attention.
It was his face.
It looked as if someone, or maybe the man himself, had taken a razor to his own face and cut his cheeks up! They didn't look healed at all either; the cuts were patched up with poor medical skills. The man almost looked psychotic.
But, a thought came across Erin's mind. That man looked like someone who had been brought up from the depths of Hell; just like she had. What if he was one of her 'friends' she was supposed to find? But, what if he wasn't? What if he was just some crazy psychotic man who liked to cut his face and pet cats? Neither odds seemed very high in the normal world; but the world she was in wasn't very normal anymore.
There was only one way to find out if she had found one of her 'friends.' -
(bump)

He walked for what seemed like hours down the trail, though it had only been around ten minutes. With a small glance at the top of the trees, he could already see the tops of buildings showing the clear shape of a city-like area. A small sigh escaped his lips as the shapes got bigger and sharper. He had just barely created his new friend, and it really was such a shame to see him go so fast.
Travis waved his hand, watching as the little butterfly burst into flames and vanished from existence. His previous thoughts about being truly alone within the crowd of people started to take over once more. He doubted that he'd go friendless there, however, and shrugged it off. Once he reached the opening of the trees, he walked right into the crowd of living, breathing, horrible humans. It's time to meet my new partners, he thought to himself warily. -
(omg yes)

The haunting man slowed to a stop at a form of..park? It was old, tattered, worn down. A perfect place for a bunch of undead to meet up, right? As he walked towards the abandoned community area, people continued to pass by him. Only a few bothered to give a second glance to his appearance, but most of which avoided him which was fine by him. He wasn't one for attention. Letting out a soft sigh, Xic took a seat on a patch of somewhat alive grass, letting his furry friend curl up in his lap. "Poor thing..I'll get you something to eat soon."
-
Erin followed the man to a poor excuse of a park. The place sent chills racing up her spine and goosebumps grew along her skin. She watched the man sit down on the ground on grass that seemed to be dying a horrible death. Carefully, she walked up to the odd man, but as she got closer she wondered if she had made a horrible mistake; what if this guy was just some hardcore cosplayer?
With all doubts pushed aside, Erin sat down near the man while keeping her own personal space. She made sure she was facing the man, just in case he wasn't the guy she thought he was and he tried to tell her to f--- off.
A sigh escaped her lips and she finally spoke up. "You look like you just crawled up from Hell." -
The butterfly lover had to quickly abandon the idea that he'd find his new team easily. There were swarms upon swarms of people. He wasn't sure if he could see his own two feet on the ground there were so many people. He started to attempt to shove his way through the crowd- something that others were doing- and made his way towards the area that seemed to have less people. Travis was most likely going to be late to the party, but that didn't bother him as much as how close to him these stupid people were.

Xic's eyes stared unblinkingly at the young woman in front of him, the feline meowing up at her from his lap. She didn't look like anyone that he expected to see, but she of all people had approached him, so she must've been one of his allies. "What if I told you I did? Would that scare such a beautiful lady away? Don't worry, I won't steal your soul, your heart on the other hand.." A small smirk came over his lips, that flirtatious attitude of his sticking out. Oh how he hated it but enjoyed it at the same time.
