For a moment, Erin was very tempted to roll her eyes at the man, but she decided against it. Instead she rose her eyebrows, but looked down at the kitten in his lap and held her and out to the small creature to see if it would let her pet it. "I just got my soul back, I wouldn't like it if I got my soul taken away," she said while looking back up at the man. Erin then cleared her throat and looked back up at the man. "Let's just leave what you said about my heart aside from now. Supposing you got what I said... Do you know who else is coming?"

Travis struggled to make it through the crowd- he shoved but got shoved back, and there were some people asking him for money or if he wanted a car and many other bizarre things. Though, when he made it to a location where the amount of people was thinning, he scurried to a bench and sat down. There was no way in hell he'd be able to find the others at this rate. He knew it wasn't like him to give up so easily, but he had no choice. Too many people were out and about, and--
Butterfly boy. A voice broke out in his head. Scowling, Travis shifted, looking at the people. "Death," he hissed.
Don't be so unhappy to hear from me. You're the one in a pickle, not me. The voice responded to him in a monotone way, though Travis knew he was probably snickering at the moment. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. What, you're gonna tell me I'm dumb for giving up?"
You know me so well. Yes, of course I am. That, and you need to stand up, turn around, and start going straight. Your teammates are in the park there. I won't help you like this in the future, however, so think of this as a freebie.
"Yeah, yeah, okay.." The blonde stood, turning to look down the road.. Thing. There were only a few people going that way, and most of them were turning at the center. Maybe Death wasn't so useless as Travis had thought. Shoving his hands into his pockets, he started forwards on his "journey" to meet the other people. -
"But I'm the soul collector, baby." He chuckled, obviously just messing around by this point. He enjoyed the low tone of his voice. It made him feel like he could sing to old funk music. And it was fun say endearments like 'baby' and 'darlin'. Xic was pulled away from his thoughts at the question on who else was coming. He shook his head with a frown, looking down at the kitten that was now cautiously sniffing the woman in front of him. "I'm sorry, but I don't. We'll just have to wait and see."
-
A light blush spread across Erin's cheeks, and she looked down at the kitten who was trying to sniff her. She knew the man was just joking with her, but she got very embarrassed very easily. Slowly, Erin reached her hand out to the kitten very slowly so it could sniff her and get used to her scent. She had a kitten before she died. She smiled a little at her old memories.
"I guess we should wait then," Erin said while looking back up at the man. "Excuse me, but I don't think I got your name. Unless if you want me to call you the 'Soul Collector' the whole time we're working together." -
Travis walked the little path, going straight ahead and ignoring the turns he could have taken. After a few minutes, he reached an opening. The sunlight was barely touching the place due to the tall trees growing around. He caught sight of something that looked like a slide, a swing set with broken swings, and other equipment he recognized from when he was a kid. It didn't look like anything there was safe, though, and it looked like it was old. A few people were walking around, but none were paying attention to the scene. None caught his eye, really, until he looked to the side. A few yards away was a pretty woman who was touching a small cat, and a guy. He swore he felt his jaw drop open when he saw the man's appearance. He looked like that kitten had jacked up his face... And then some. There was no way he was a normal human being. He stayed away from the two, watching from afar in hopes of not being noticed.

"Ah, yes. My name is Xic, the Soul Collector." He winked teasingly adding the second part. He noticed how she looked at the furry animal, as she were reminiscing the past. He smiled and leaned back as the kitten mewed and rubbed against the woman's hand, yearning for attention. "I just found her on my way. Poor little thing is probably starving right now..But I have nothing to give her. Oh, and what did you say your name was?"

Hey guys, can I reply in a day or so? I can't get on my computer, andi just need to sort some stuff out. Ill try to see if I can answer tomorrow, but if not then, then Tuesday. Sorry for the inconvenience, I just can't right now))

(I'm cool with it. Real life dominates over the internet. You got problems, go sort 'em out. I'm taking a break, so I likely won't respond until Friday. Good luck!)

(omg thanks for understanding Dark)
"Xic, that's an interesting name," Erin stated with a small smile as she scratched the kitten under the chin. She laughed a little as the she-kitten mewed for attention. "Well, I'm sure we can find her something along our trip," Erin stated simply as she looked back up at Xic. "Oh, yes, I'm Erin... The... well, just Erin." A small uneasy laugh left Erin with a small smile as she said her name. Her gift from Death was controlling heat; what kind of name would she have?
A gust of wind suddenly came by and blew some of Erins long raven black hair in her face. That was one of the things that Erin hated; her hair. She wished she could get it cut, but you couldn't really get your hair cut in Hell. With a huff, Erin turned her head to put her face in the wind so she could fix her hair, and as she was doing that someone caught her attention. There was a man with blonde hair and a missing eye, who was standing in the small crowd of people. It looked as if he was trying his best to keep his distance, or to not get noticed, but the way he was looking at the two... She knew that he was a part of their group. Erin didn't know what to say, or maybe she was too confused to say anything, so she just watched the boy with a confused look on her face.
