oh sweet uwu
I was quite startled when Ben hung up without a goodbye. Then again, I did the same, at times. I stretched out, getting myself some water. The least I could do was get a table and start drinking something to keep myself hydrated while I waited. -
It's helpful for homework/not paying a lick of attention
I washed my hands, leaving most of my things where they remained, and rushed down the flights of stairs, through hallways and out the front. For halfway through the day, there were less people than usual. I mounted my bike, and glided through the rough city streets. Barely, I missed people, and many a driver yelled in anger at my weaving and winding. It was just a way to reach the destination quicker. -
Do they monitor your iPad? And, do you have to turn it in at the end of the year, or did they legit give you a free iPad?
As I waited, I wondered what kind a car Benjamin drove. Or, if he even drove a car. He didn't seem like the type to not drive one, but then again, I'd learned that things were definitely not what they seemed to be. For all I knew, he walked from place to place. That sounded kinda sucky, though, so I threw that idea in the trash. -
Nahhhh, I do have to turn it in tho, and I paid 40 bucks for it technically
Skidding to a halt, I pushed my bike into a rack, and slicked my hair back into something more manageable. The door slid open as nice as a door could, and I glanced around for Phoebe. I erupted in a smile when I caught glance of her, and approached. -
Wait how :o
I had been attempting to lick the water out of the plastic cup when I heard the door open. My eyes trailed upwards to the door, where I saw the same face I remembered from earlier this morning. As he approached, I pulled the cup away from my face and set it down, brushing my hair to the side. With an awkward tint of red threatening to take over my face, I smiled at him. "Wow, you're quick." -
So I pay 40 bucks as insurance so they fix it if it breaks. I also have to sign that I won't watch p--- or whatever on it, but I know a s---ton of kids that do.
"Bikes are brilliant for that, I must say," I stood there, feeling painfully awkard. With a flash of a smirk, I had to inquire: "Hm.. Is this seat taken?" Before sitting across from her. People do that, right? I thought. -
why is it whenever I want to RP I have to go
I'll see you later -
Did you have a choice to pay for the insurance, or was it forced onto you? And that's expected. xP
I smiled in slight victory as he stated what he had came on. A bike, something I had long since forgotten about. I didn't remember that it existed. And to think that I thought he walked. Hah! My smile faded for a moment as Ben broke me from my silent victory with a joke. I stared at him, my mind slowly registering what he had said. For a moment, I was shocked. But the shock faded into laughter. I couldn't help myself. I broke into loud, loud laughter. My body shook with the effort. "M-maybe it is.. But I guess you're the one who's gone and taken it now." -
I had to pay for it, but I could opt out of getting an iPad. (And I cheated the system a lil bit so I only pay 15 dollars a year instead of 40 at once)
"Isn't that right?" In forced compensation, my hand swept my hair back over my ear. She looked beautiful; her smile lit up her face and the laugh, the rather loud one, was simply music. In sudden realisation that I was quite awkwardly staring, I shot my gaze over to the counter. It seemed like an eternity from when I first met her. Quite unhealthily, my brain racked over why I was so captivated with her. It was unnatural for me, for such a sudden attraction between myself and a human being. She wasn't a machine, and yet she was so fascinating. The rest were dull, but not her. I looked back at her. -
makes sense I guess
"Yes, it is. I don't think I would have it any other way." I muttered the last few words, gazing at him. Even though we had just met earlier this morning, I felt some sort of attraction to him. Why, I wasn't sure, but I did. I was startled as he suddenly looked away, and, thinking I had been staring, I looked at the cup of water in my hands. Suddenly, it was too cold for me, and I wanted something warm. Without looking up, I cleared my throat. "Say, I'm a little cold. I think I'm going to get some warm tea. Would you like some, too?" -
ugh I just had to clean up and stuff
"Y-yes, that'd be lovely, please. And it is quite cold... Isn't it?" I threw the question out while slapping myself mentally, multiple times. Of course, it's cold, she just said she was, I thought. In mild anger, I reminded myself that I had a doctorate and the fact that I could barely hold a decent conversation was pathetic. I could feel my heart rate spike in relation with my emotions. "As much s-sugar as po-possible, please?" -
ew cleaning is gross
"Yeah, it is. I have a feeling that Charlie turned the air conditioner on," I said as I rose from my chair. "The boss is always telling him not to, but he complains too much if it's not on during his shifts.. Sure, I'll make sure to ask." I walked to the counter, smirking as Charlie stuck his tongue out at me. I ordered myself a mint-flavored tea, and ended up ordering something random for Ben. I made sure to ask for the extra sugar in his. -
did you know that I hate Verizon and I can only come on if I go to the library now. They were like "lol wat m8 u didn't pay fuk u"
I knew I couldn't finish this time with her if I didn't get a grip on myself, and didn't act like a complete idiot because of social ineptness. If I could do that, I could at least distract myself. As I awaited her 'arrival', I contemplated physics and maths and whatever else I usually thought of. The abstract concept of time, like I had mentioned before, was a priority as well. If only time was linear, I thought, laughing to myself. -
omg Verizon
It took the boys a while, but soon I had two cups of warm tea in my hands. I carefully guided myself back to the table, avoiding things I could trip over. When I finally made it back to the table, I set Ben's extra sugar-coated tea down. "Alright, I asked them for extra sugar.. I'm not sure how well they mixed it in, though, so here's a stiry thing in case it's a little too sweet." I slid back into my seat, staring once more at the intriguing man in front of me. -
ikr and then they had the nerve to say that we didn't even use their internet we had Comcast. We've never had Comcast.
I looked down at the amber liquid that was swirled with grains of sugar. It wasn't too bad for someone other than myself doing it. "There is no such thing as having t-tea too, ah, ah, sweet. In fact, the only way to have it is when it rots out your t-teeth with one sip." While rummaging through my pockets for a piece of paper and pen, I tried it. "This is quite d-decent, by the way. C-could use some more, actually."
