That is fantastic. XD
Yesss.
I got this soap idea from here if you wanna watch
Griffin stared at her with those deep blue eyes of his, clasping his hands together. He opened his mouth to speak, but only an awkward noise came from his throat. He rubbed his eyes, apologizing and proceeding to clear his throat. He bit his lip, glancing to his shoes and then back up again, which he did numerous times as he put a sentence together. "Would, you, uh, mind talking for a little while?" His voice was slightly raspy and mainly quiet, which was just his behavior showing. He wasn't being cautious or careful or anything along the lines of safe. He would have been willing to talk to anybody, regardless of their appearance, with the emotions that were mixing around his brain that night. -
xD
I shall watch it when my phone charges. YouTube freezes my computer so yeah...
She knew it, the boy needed to talk. She quickly walked towards him, still clutching her bag tightly. "Of course..." she said, though she wasn't sure where they should go. Quickly, she nodded her head just to assure him that she wasn't going to leave him anytime soon. "Here, let's go back into the coffee shop... if you want to," she added quickly.
Shay really hoped that she was able to help this boy in whatever way that she could. Gently, she grabbed his arm and led him towards the shop, but was ready to let go of him in case he was edgy about her grabbing him. -
It's really f---ing awesome what goes down in the video except for one part. It restores my faith in humanity.
Griffin was wary about the sudden touch, but he allowed her to do so, because he was the one who asked her for help. He felt himself slipping just a bit deeper into the dark state of mind that he had been trapped in for years, by then. He despised the feeling, and he wanted to destroy it not matter what steps he had to take. If ending his life meant being free from everything weighing him down, he was prepared for it. He was ready. He wanted to do it, and the urge was so strong that even he, himself, was a little afraid. Once he smelled the strong scent of cinnamon and coffee, he glanced to the girl, wondering if she would really stay when he talked. -
Really? I will totally have to watch it then ^-^
Even more than before, Shay was really glad the place was empty. She quickly lead the boy over to one of the many couches the shop hand and she motioned for him to sit down. She took a seat herself and she looked at the boy.
Shay mentally prepared herself for anything bad the boy was able to throw at her. She just hoped that he wouldn't be one of those people who never took her words into consideration and was just begging for attention, but this boy didn't seem like that. He seemed to actually have some problems and she was ready to listen. "What's your name?" Shay started off. -
It's good, dude. I cried. I never cry lololol.
Griffin sat next to her, but was sure to put some space between them because he didn't want to seem like that kind of guy. He jammed him hand into his coat's pocket, swallowing a few words before he finally answered. "My name is Griffin. And yours?" he questioned politely, casting his eyes to the floor and observing the hardwood floor. He listened in for a response, not very bent on making any actual contact just yet. -
Really? Well s---, den imma cry cause I cry easily.
"Shay," she answered, noticing the distance Griffin was making between the two of them. "What do you want to talk about? What's going on?" For some reason, Shay's mother side completely took over. Her voice was soft, her look was soft, everything about her was soft and welcoming. Something about her wanted to hug the boy, but she decided not to. Shay didn't want to make Griffin uncomfortable in anyway whatsoever. She wanted to help him. -
Awe Ann c':
He held his breath for a few moments, fishing for the correct words. This went by very quick, because he was completely aware of what he was going to say. He started off with a clear of his throat and a sniffle. "I have a feeling that you are the last person I'm going to talk to so I first thank you for doing this. Do you ever feel so down and out that you get the idea that ending it would make it better?" He tilted his head, pulling one leg over the other, his nose smelling the various ingredients that were being used in the coffees. It was a rather amazing thing, to say the least, as he always appreciated things like that. -
I so emotional :'3
and s---, I feel like laughing and crying now for no reason o.O
Instantly, Shay knew what Griffin meant, and this scared her. Her throat started to close shut, and her hands started to shake a little. She cleared her throat. "Griffin," she spoke hoarsely. "I'm going to do my best to make sure that I'm not the last person you talk to, really, I'm going to try. Now... I don't know what's going on with your life, so I can't say anything yet... can you please tell me what's going on? Why do you think this?" -
But why u:
His breathing hitched, his mind going blank. The idea of talking to a complete stranger was a horrible one, now that he was actually viewing the situation. He gnawed on his lip, eventually beginning his talk. "I've felt it for a long time, now, actually. I just haven't felt it a such a heightened point. I'm not a very happy person, as you can tell. I'm not smart things like math or science or things like that, but I can see the bigger picture and English classes are a safe haven for me. I live at home while I take my classes, which I take online. I live with my dad. My mom isn't in the picture. I don't think I should say what happened, though." -
*at things
-
Wait, no why did I put no reason. fuk, it's nothing bad, they're tears of joy. I had to get my feelings out on the lounge :'3
"Alright," she said while nodding her head in understanding. "You don't have to admit anything you don't want to." Shay blinked while trying to think of what to say next. She cleared her throat and she felt like she was choking. "I'm not going to try and tell you not to do it, because I know I have no power to stop you. And- And I'm trying-" She stopped. She felt like and idiot and her voice was cracking. Fear was pulsing through her. What if she couldn't save him? "I'm not trying to guilt trip you but... Who do you care about? W-Who cares about you? Who do you think you would hurt if you were to do this Griffin? I know for sure you'd be hurting me..." -
That was so weet urngh. :'U
Griffin listened to this tone of voice and his heart throbbed with a painful guiltiness. He went on to explain, "I don't think I care about anything but my cat, really. But I don't know if he'd care or not. He's a cat. I don't see much care in my father. I think that's because I'm in college and because of the incident that I will not mention. But, do explain, because I just met you and I hadn't expected you to care, why you would be so sad over me? I've done nothing to you except ask for help. I must sound so stupid right around now," he scoffed, furrowing his eyebrows. -
^-^
Shay took a deep breath and she moved her hair out of her face. "Whenever I think of suicide... I don't care who it is, or if I hardly or don't know them at all, I get sad. Kids at my school would kill themselves over bullying and..." Shay stopped for a second, pushing the tears of fear, and sadness away. She doubled the damn that was holding her tears back. "I don't care who you are, or what your past is, I just want to help you." -
:)
Griffin wiped a tear that was trying to wiggle out of the corner of his eye. No way he would break down in front of this girl. He pulled the gesture off like he had only been itching himself. Over this statement, he couldn't help but ask, "Was here a high suicide rate at your school?" He hadn't meant it to sound as though he had disregarded anything, but this was what he found himself being interested in when she talked. He looked over to watch her facial features, still feeling really s---ty over stressing her out so much. -
Shay nodded, finally letting a tear or two escape. "Yes," she answered. "And someone I knew very well decided to make that choice and..." She took another deep breath. "You might find out that someone actually cares more about you than you think. You might have a secret crush, or parents too busy with trying to stay out of poverty to really notice you. Please, Griffin, don't give up. You were right to search for help and I'd be glad to visit you here every day to talk with you."
