Jake continues grinning "Because she needs to learn her place, and quit being a little twit. Now that you're off duty, you're going to have to learn the same thing."
Roy sighed and looked out the window, then back at Jake. "Yessir." -
(It is.)
She took deep breathes to relax. She was stick here, with him, for god knows how long. Fantastic. -

Jake grabbed from cereal from the cupboard and Roy got up to leave. He went upstairs to Sara's room and knocked on the door. -
"What?" she asked hearing a knock from the door, not getting up.

"It's me, can I come in?"

"Sure." she said, hearing Roy's voice.

He opened the door and walked in, sitting on the edge of her bed. "Well you've got a death wish or something?"

"No, I'm just not a very passive person." she stated, leaning back a bit. "What's his problem, anyways?"

"He doesn't tolerate people of lower rank sassing him. And if you want to stay alive, you better get a grip and stay out of his way. Unless you enjoy being punched, because he's not affected at all by your little scratch marks."

"Lower rank, huh? I hate people that think they're higher status over someone else just because they're stronger." she muttered, laying down on the bed, and looking up at the cieling.

He glared at her "I'm stronger than you, but we rank the same. Jakes in charge, he's the one that's part of this whole operation. He has more power than you might think. He's in charge, and doesn't tolerate stupidity. We've all learned not to test him, I recommend you do the same."

"Fine. I wont." she sighed, closing her eyes.

He sighed softly "Call him Sir and look at him when he's talking to you, and when you're talking to him. If he tells you to do something, do it." he patted her leg near her ankle. "You'll be fine."

"Sir. I have to call him Sir?" Fantastic...." Sara muttered. "Thanks." she said softly, looking up at him before closing her eyes again.

He smiled and nodded "Everyone does. Calling him Jake is a good way to starve. Or just don't call him anything. Just have a respectful tone. Lillian got slapped once and learned right away how to behave. It shouldn't take you too long."
