"Ballroom dancing in so elegant, which is something I am not. I praise you for being capable of such a thing. And yeah, they play a slow song every once in a blue moon." He admired Harry's facial features for only a moment before glancing up to the DJ's stand. He wondered how it was, being in control of anything and everything that the club partied to. What if there happened to be a song that everyone despised? Louis shook his head, knowing that his thoughts were getting off-track. He put his attention backs towards Harry, grinning back at him.

Harry shrugged, like it was nothing, but he knew that nowadays it was something a bit unique. Being his age, at one time, it was an absolute necessity to be able to dance with a girl in a ballroom situation. "I can't say that I'll show you if a slow song comes on." Realizing he'd probably been holding it too long, he let go of Louis' hand and tucked both of his own in his pockets.

"I highly doubt that one would, anyway." He pulled his hand back towards his body, sliding one of his fingers into a belt loop. "What do you suppose we do, then, since this dancing thing isn't exactly working out so hot?" He used his other hand to move some hair off of his forward, his lips pursed in question.

Harry bit his cheek, tilting back and forth in thought. "Mm, are you interested in ice cream?" He knew there was a drive through Daria Queen somewhere around, and he actually did kind of like ice cream. He figured it might go over better than the dancing. "It's getting pretty late, anyway, I should probably get you home." -

Louis' eyes seemed to light up in pure excitement. "Ice cream, though..." he cooed. "But I've got ice cream in my own freezer, so I guess it's better than spending money that does need to be spent." He crossed his arms over his chest. "Since I've got close to nothing left in my poor pockets," he joked. -

Harry clicked his tongue, nodding. "That'll work. As long as you plan on sharing, right?" He was a little excited at the prospect of not just a dropping-you-off-in-front-of-your-house but a I'll-come-in-and-eat-ice-cream-with-you. -

"I've got enough to share, mm, sure." He didn't mind the company, especially when his younger roommate, (OOOOH) Niall, was never around. Having anyone over was really nice, in his eyes, so this idea made his excited, as well. -

louis doesn't have any feels for niall i just figured hey let's throw him in there yeah -

Harry nodded curtly, smiling, and stepping beside Louis to start walking to the door. "Off we go. My car's in the lot." -

"Alright. Fantastic." He looked up at the younger male. "Thank you for being so nice," he thanked, his face remaining as bright as it had been. "It means a lot since Patrick had to go." -
"Of course, I did kind of keep you here, after all." He shrugged, glancing down at Louis. His face had been the same colored shade practically every time he'd looked at him, so he attributed it to either absolute success in the flirting department or alcohol. When the got the the exit doors, he went out first, and held it open for Louis.

Louis thanked him once again, exiting the building and inhaling deeply. The cool air was refreshing, and he closed his eyes for a moment to let it sink in. When he reopened them, he stared up at the mainly clear sky. "What a wonderful night," he mentioned, pointing to the vast space above.

Harry, pausing on the sidewalk, glanced up to follow upwards where Louis was pointing. "Mhm, it's nice, no clouds. And it's not too cold, either."
