and what happened? xD
To express how he felt about the statement, Louis only sighed gleefully. At that moment, he did not feel he had enough brainpower to keep a conversation for too long. So, instead, he figured he'd take a nap in the car and be perfectly fine when he was home. But then he realized, "Mmm, my address?" -
Harry looked back down at Louis, blinking to adjust back to the light difference between his face and the dark sky. "Yah, I'll need that. You know it, right?"
-
Oh well it broke because you know boiling
-
"Mmmm, hm, yeah. 224 Lantix Run." He paused for a moment. "Do you have a...uh, GPS?" He assumed that it would be much simpler and a whole lot easier if he just happened to. He couldn't be trusted with giving directions after a night out, but he at least found a solution.
-
That's fantastic but why would he boil it ;-;
-
I dunno xD He wanted to see what would happen
Rich kids tho
Harry nodded, and started walking out into the parking lot. "Yup. On my phone. Don't worry, I wouldn't expect you to use very much brainpower right now." -
like if i had iPhone 6's to just boil up I'd be the happiest thing alive
"Welp, thank goodness for phones and stuff." He rubbed tiredly at his eyes. "It'll lead you to a complex where the flat is, okay?" He recalled that much, but it was honestly unnecessary information for him to voice. -
"Sounds good." He stopped for a moment, rolling on his heels that turning to Louis. He hadn't really thought of it before, but, he was a little embarrassed. "Okay, can you promise you won't laugh at my car? It's old. Not rusty and dirty, per say, but very very old."
-
Louis almost laughed, but refused to. "I already men-tion-ed before that I don't judge." Besides, he thought old cars were pretty cool if they were taken care of. Even so, he needed a way home, so there was no possible way that he would even think of complaining over the vehicle doing the job.
-
"Alright. If you say so," Harry bit his lip, finally leading the way into the back of the lot. Between two other cars was his ancient beauty- polished to an impeccable shine, it was a 1929 Pierce Arrow. In truth, it was the second car he'd ever purchased. Of course the engine had been replaced three times, but the shell was the original. He tapped the hood of it, gently, with his fingertip. "Here we go. 1929 Pierce. You'll be glad to know that your only option is shotgun."
-
"This looks like something my grandpa would drive around. In a good way, anyways." He truthfully hadn't meant anything in a harmful, mocking fashion. What he had said was what he felt judging on the first appearance. He examined the outside of the vehicle, bouncing with both excitement and approval. "It's nice."
-
Harry blushed a little, looking at the smooth black vehicle. "It drives well. It has a modern engine, stick shift, and, hey- cup holders." That, in the 60's, had been his most proud purchase.
-
Now, Louis found himself allowed to laugh as much as he wanted to, and he did. The chuckles escaped in bursts that echoed through the night. "That's fantastic!" He waved a hand in front of his burning face, catching his breath.
-
Harry flushed, feeling a little silly that at one time he'd been excited to drive a car that was unique enough to hold his soda. But he couldn't help but smile because Louis' laugh was truly absolutely adorable, and just kind of stood there, pursed-lips smiling and mentally fonding over Louis.
-
Louis took in his final deep breath, putting his hands to his hips. "Alrighty. I can get in, rrright?" he questioned, finding permission to be needed. While he awaited a response, he also observed the tires of the car, finding those to be appealing in their design. He couldn't understand why Harry would be embarrassed over this possession, especially when it was how it was.
