Harry feared that Louis was getting bored with his company when he turned away from the counter to face the dancers. He followed his gaze, and asked, "Do you want to dance?"
-
"I would love to," he responded, prepared to actually attempt to perform nice dance moves. He had lied, after all, so the best he could do was try try try. He stood, and to even his surprise, he was stable on his feet, barely wobbling at all.
-
Harry is quick to follow, standing up beside Louis. To lead him forward, trying to be gentle and slight, he put his hand on the small of his back while he started walking. "I'm prepared to be impressed."
-
This was enough to guide Louis in the correct direction, and he decided not to say anything of it. He smiled when the lights flickered to a more favorable pairing, soft blue and dark red. He believed these to be appealing and fitting with the mood. "Finally, they changed those hideous colors."
-
"Hideous? I kind of liked it. But these are fine, too," he smiled, looking at Louis. He led them to a less-packed area, thinking maybe the older would prefer it.
-
"I think it was the green that really didn't help. It looked like vomit, in my opinion." He contemplated a way to possibly avoid having to dance. He could feign illness, but realizing that piling a lie right on top of a lie wouldn't be very helpful. He would just wing it, and let the music take him away. It was only then that he would know if he could actually move.
-
Harry moved his hand from Louis' back, keeping it to himself. Over the music, he said, "Just warning you, I absolutely can't dance. I'm terrible at it."
-
This actually placated Louis' anxiety over having to dance. He assumed that if he used a few numbers that he had learned in theatre in his days of being a high school student. "Don't worry," Louis replied, having to raise his voice, "I don't judge."
-
crapcrapcrap
*student, he would be okay. -
"Alright. Here we go. Dancing." Harry was unsure how to initiate a dancing situation directly with someone else. And, he'd began to feel more inclined to appeal to Louis as a person than to simply convince him into his car. So, since the guy seemed like a jokester, Harry started twirling his hips and twisting his arms like he was slow-motion hula-hooping.
-
Watching this dance move, Louis gained a few ideas as to what he, himself, could do. He nearly chuckled at the movement, but did not, feeling as though he wouldn't be doing the right thing if he did that. Instead, he gave a few steps from some play he had done in his sophomore year. He stepped forwards, backwards, to the left, and in order to get to the right side, he did a little spin. He hoped that this would suffice for the moment.
-
Harry looked up, and couldn't help but giggle at what he saw Louis doing. It looked pretty coreographed, like he'd taken it right from a Disney movie. When Louis passed him, he stopped his own hula-hoop dance, and caught one of his hands. "Oh boy, what're we doing?" He laughed, "You're in a musical. I'm a toddler trying to communicate that I lost my hula hoop."

IT DID IT AGAIN
I'm sorry. I'm not her, I have her old phone, though. It switches our log-ins sometimes. -
It's totally fine. xD
Louis' cheeks flushed down with embarrassment as he glanced down at their hands. His fished for the correct words that would save him in this particular situation. Gnawing the edge of his lip, he told the other, "I suppose I failed to mention that I dance in a theatre-like fashion?" -
Harry shook his head, smiling madly. It was really the first time he'd had fun in, honestly, years. "Alright. But, I guess I can't say that's not dancing. I can dance, too, then, because I can ballroom dance. Though that doesn't do very much good here."
