D'you wanna timeskip to after school now?)
Will hurried to his next class, arriving just a few minutes late. Luckily this teacher didn't pay much attention to her students, who trailed in whenever they pleased. In all honestly, Will was probably one of the early arrivals. -
chyeah if you wanna :3
and i think I'm gonna change it around and have Oliver have a brother away at college kk
In about twenty minutes, Oliver's father had arrived, attempting to press all of the details from his son. Oliver only gave him the basics, not too interested in talking at that moment. He was busy feeling around his mouth and trying to determine if he could pull the gauze yet. -
okie coolio)
Will made it through the rest of the day, though just barely. His classes seemed longer than usual, and all the classes he shared with Oliver were boring without the dark-haired boy's company. Finally, by some miracle, the final bell rang, and Will practically jumped out his seat. In no time at all he was stepping out of the school, making a beeline for Oliver's house. -
:)
Oliver's father had finally left him alone to go to work, but insisted that he would be talking once he returned home. The teenager sat in the living room, on the couch with a blanket covering him. He had all the lights off, not wishing to look at or be in the brightness. It was times like these that he just laid and thought about anything. And it comforted him to a certain extent. -
Will raised a fist, hesitating a moment before knocking lightly at the door. He still had his bag slung over one shoulder, having come straight from school, but he was sure Oliver wouldn't mind if he left it by the door to pick up once he was leaving.
-
When Oliver heard this knock, he slipped out from under the cover. It took him a mere five seconds to answer the door, and when he saw the person he had been waiting for, his eyes lit up. "Come in," he greeted, gesturing to the inside of the home. It was still dark, however, as he hadn't bothered hitting the switch.
-
Will smiled and stepped inside, though he couldn't see anything. He slipped out of his shoes- not wanting to track dirt in the house- and set his bag beside them. He blinked and reached out for Oliver's arm. He could probably navigate in the dark better than Will, especially since it was his own house.
-
"Uh, we could stay in the living room or go to my bedroom," he told the other male. Then, while pushing the door closed with his free arm, he he mentioned, "I could aalso turn on the lights, if you'd like." He realized that it might be difficult to move around without actually being capable of seeing anything, even if he knew the way around every hallway and corner.
-
"Uh, we can go wherever you'd like. A bit of light would be nice though." He said, still blanking and glancing around, trying to see through the darkness but having little success in doing so. "Is your mouth feeling any better?" He asked.
-
"Then, I suppose we could just stay here." He turned on the nearest switch, but by doing this, he had to pull away. When the room was illuminated, it showed a neatly decorated room. The floors were a clean hardwood, shining with its cleanliness. The walls were a welcoming beige, and they showed many pictures of the different people in Oliver's family. A glass, sleek coffee table sat in front of a sandy brown couch and loveseat. On this coffee table was a notebook and a few papers, but otherwise, the room was spotless.
-
Will looked around, his eyes adjusting quickly to the sudden brightness. An obviously impressed expression was on his face as he stared. "Your house is always so neat, Oliver." He mumbled. Then, realizing he was getting distracted, he directed his gaze to the other boy. "So...what do you need to tell me?"
-
oh s--- i had this planned
Oliver sighed, "I did promise I'd tell you, didn't I?" He turned just his head away because he didn't feel as though he could look his boyfriend in the eyes when he spoke. Oliver pulled in a deep breath, his eyes showing no emotion. They cast towards the other side of the room as he spoke everything that he had been hiding for three weeks. His voice wavered with tremors and shakes and an underlying sadness that wasn't too hard to pick up on. "I believe, that exactly one month from tomorrow, on my birthday, I'm going to give myself a present. I'm going to finally rid the school of Tommy Keane and his little friends. They have caused enough problems and complications that they deserve a bullet through each and every single one of their brains. Once I accomplish that, I'm sure everybody would be panicking and trying to get to me, so I could just shoot myself, too, ya know? If you want, you can help, but if you don't want to, that's okay, because everything will go as planned either way. I'm sure it would be for the best, anyways." -
crapcrapcrap
By the time he had reached the last few sentences, his voice was peculiarly calm. That was probably the most nerve-rattling part of it all. -
woah .o.
Will was absolutely frozen. He stared at Oliver with wide eyes, taking a few shocked moments to process what his boyfriend had just said to him. He was dead serious, Will could see that much, and it terrified him. How could he talk about shooting someone- and himself- so calmly?! The brown-haired boy finally snapped out of his statue-like state and tentativley reached out, his fingers resting lightly on Oliver's arm. The only response he could manage was a whispered "Why?" -
like damn son
check yoself oliver
In his own head, the whole idea seemed quite reasonable, even if it was wrong in some aspects. He felt that he would be doing people a favor. "Well, think about it, they've screwed with me and other kids so much that maybe teaching them wouldn't be so bad. And then the others wouldn't have to worry about their constant tormenting." His eyes brimmed over with a few tears. "As for myself, no one wants the shooter to live."
