oh yus
The books fell from the locker quicker than Oliver could blink, falling at his feet. However he had placed the novels inside had created a waterfall effect, as they spilled just in that fashion. They had slapped onto the floor with smacks that ranged in volume. After jumping back in fear, he let out a short sigh. He stared at the various titles for a moment before leaning down. Beginning to collect the pile, he contemplated a better way to put them back.
He eventually put all of them back in a stable, neat fashion. He stood there, wondering what he would need for the day. After a moment, he pulled from his backpack a bulky textbook. He shoved it in along with all of the others.

Entering the halls, Will quickly unpacked his things, only just managing to cram his textbooks and workbooks into his overcrowded locker. He tried to work quickly, and in a matter of minutes, he had turned down a different hallway, his sneakers squealing against the floor.
He stopped beside Oliver's locker and smiled softly at his boyfriend. "Good morning Oliver." He chirped, not speaking too loudly so as not to startle him. -
At the sound of those words, coming from the voice that was so familiar, his heart fluttered joyously. Once he was positive that the person was who he thought he was, the boy wished to feel the warmth of the other. He wasn't going to ask for any type of affection, however. He usually didn't, always having some kind of fear that Will wouldn't like it, or would push away from him.
On the occasions that he took the chance, a feeling of anxiety still rested in his chest, whether it was kissing, cuddling, or hugging. The nerves hadn't been getting the best of him lately, mainly because they had found an interest in verbal abuse rather than getting physical. Even so, he wouldn't let his guard down.
This time around, however, he had the idea to at least greet him kindly. Once he turned, he opened his arms and wrapped them around Will. -
Will stumbled back, not expecting Oliver to hug him so suddenly. He wrapped his arms around the other boy and gave him a light squeeze. "How are you this morning?" He murmured curiously into his ear. He felt a light blush dust over his cheeks, not used to the other boy so openly displaying affection. He only pulled away when he felt his backpack slipping off his shoulder. He brushed a bit of hair from his face and smiled again.
-
Oliver offered a slight smile, turning back to his locker to finish up what he needed to do. As he completed this task, he finally gave a reply to the question at end. "I'm okay. What about you?" As he spoke those barely true words, he slowly closed his locker, waiting to hear the click that signaled it was closed. He hated hearing slams of the lockers, always so loud and obnoxious. Once he was sure his belongings were safe, he ran a hand through his own hair and waited for a response.
-
My parents are fighting again. I'm...Frustrated. Hurt. A little lonely. "I'm fine." He replied with a smile. He linked his hand with Oliver's, entwining their fingers and all but pulling him towards their first class. "Although I wish they gave us bigger lockers. I could barely fit my books in this morning..." He mumbled, readjusting his backpack so it didn't fall.
-
Oliver was actually alright with this, moving along with him, trying to match his pace. He was never one to easily pick up emotions, and so he saw nothing wrong with what Will had told him. A nod of the head showed that he agreed with the statement about the size of the lockers. Even he had times when he couldn't fit everything he needed into the small space. He would never complain about it, though.
-
After a few moments, Will gave up on trying to start a conversation. Instead, he walked in contented silence, only dropping his hand when they arrived at the classroom door. He wasn't sure Oliver would be happy looking attached to him so publicly. He slid into his desk and began to unpack his books, listening to the endless droning. chatter of his classmates.
-
Oliver took the seat in front of Will so that he could be close to him without making too much of a scene. He wasn't embarrassed by the fact that he was in a relationship with him, it was only a matter of what people would do. That was what terrified him the most, and he wasn't going to gamble or take risks anymore than he had to.
-
Will smiled when Oliver sat in front of him. He had been half expecting the boy to sit on the other side of the room, and the little gesture (though it may not even have been on purpose) made Will happy. The smiled vanished when the teacher stood though, and as she began to speak in the same monotone voice that all teachers seemed to share, he sighed and settled in, preparing for a long lecture.
-
Oliver never exactly listened to the teacher, as he was capable of obtaining the necessary knowledge outside of the classroom. He also thought that the meothod in which teachers delivered lessons were idiotic. He pulled his journal from his backpack along with a Ticonderoga pencil, the only kind he would use. As the teacher spoke, he continued writing what he one day hoped to publish.

*was idiotic

Will grinned knowingly to himself, noting how easily Oliver made it look like he was taking notes. He knew he was probably writing that book he'd told him about once or twice. Will didn't know what it was about, and he was curious, but he never pressed for information. Oliver would tell him if he wanted to. Realizing he was getting distracted, he quickly picked up his pencils and began to scribble in his own notebook.
-
After a sum of time spent writing, Oliver found himself at a nice part to stop and plan out the protagonist's next few moves. He placed the pencil down, glancing around the room a few couple of times. He could easily get distracted with his imagination, dreaming up situations here and there. This was the type of thing that usually got him into trouble. Regardless, he always did it, no matter what he was told or threatened with.
