OMG xD haha I totally overdid that, sorry.
(Fffiiiinnnnneeeeee :P And I'll be back in about twenty minutes.)
Faeryn sits on her bed with her knees pulled up to her chest. That way see feels more secure; more safe. Everything seems so bright to her. Her white clothes, her white bedsheets, the white walls, the gray floor; everything is just so plain and bright. For the time that she's in that room she's always thought it was odd how everything is white. 'They're trying to make things seem nice. They're trying to make things seem peaceful. But nothing is nice, nothing! Nothing is peaceful! Not here! Not anywhere.'
Faeryn shakes her head before her thoughts consume her again. Instead, she picks at her bedsheets to take her mind off of everything. This only helps so much though. -
Jeremy slowly pushed open the door and closed it behind him. "Hey, Fae..." He called softly, smiling gently at the girl before him. He studied her quickly for any new injuries, and upon seeing none, he smiled a little wider. "How are you this morning?" He asked, still speaking quietly. He knew how easy it was to upset her, and he didn't want her throwing a fit so early in the morning.
-
Faeryn heard Jeremy speak and she slowly turned her head towards him. She locked her eyes with his blue eyes, and she felt like smiling when she saw him smile, but couldn't bring herself to do so. "Everything's so bright; it's too white," she says slowly while turning to look back at her bed sheets. She began to pick at them again. "This place needs more color."
-
Jeremy glanced around and nodded. "You're right, it is very white here..." He sat down in front of her and smiled again. "If you like I can sneak you some clothes that aren't white tomorrow. What colors do you like?"
-
At Jeremy's words Faeryn instantly looked up at him. Her blue eyes lit up with a sort of light that hadn't ever been there for a long time. "Anything but red, yellow, and white," she said at a whisper. Quickly, Faeryn glanced around as if there was someone in the room watching them and waiting to turn them in for breaking the hospital rules. When she saw no one was in the room, she looked back at Jeremy and put a finger up to her lip. "But shh... walls have ears here," she whispered.
-
Jeremy nodded, feeling a little surge of happiness when her eyes lit up. "How about blue?" He asked, in a whisper, just in case any if the other doctors happened to be eavesdropping.
-
Faeryn nodded and looked towards her window. She knew full well that she couldn't break the glass that was there. She tried many times before and failed horribly. She looked towards the sky with the dots of white clouds; she moved closer to the edge of the bed. "Like the sky?" she questioned.
-
He nodded eagerly and grinned. "Yeah. Like the sky. Or your eyes." He added, studying the blue irises. Far run was so innocent and sweet, he couldn't understand why anyone thought she was insane.
-
Faeryn nodded and then turned her attention back towards the white bed sheets. 'I can be colorful,' she thought to herself. "What are we doing today?" she questioned, her voice was still at a whisper. She prayed silently inside that she wouldn't have to take any medicine, but everyday, she always did.
-
Jeremy's smile faltered. "Well, you'll have to take your medicine. But if you like, we can draw after that. I brought new colored pencils too." He said, hoping she would be more happy about that than upset about the medicine.
-
At the mention of her medicine, Faeryn just about shattered on the floor again and had a total breakdown. Her heart started to beat faster and faster, tears started to swell up in her eyes, and her breathing came a little more quicker than normal. Again, her eyes locked on Jeremy's and she shook her head slowly. "Please," she says softly at first. "I don't want to take them. I don't like them."
-
Ah sorry I fell asleep D:)
Jeremy bit his lip and tried not to feel guilty at seeing the tears in her eyes. "Fae, it'll help. It'll be over quick, I promise, okay?" He smiled softly again, trying to calm her down. "It'll only take a second, and then we can do whatever you want." -
Haha, it's fine.)
Faeryn hid her face in her knees and refused to look at anything. 'I don't want drugs controlling my life,' she thought to herself. 'They're bad... I don't like them...' Faeryn groaned and said, "shot, or pill?" -
