"That's not what wedding rings have, though." He sighed, and whined at the blanket being moved back. "I feel hot, really hot. How far away is Iceland?"

"Mm, I know. An emerald ring would be nice though, wouldn't it? Like your eyes." Lovino hummed with a smile. He frowned at the next comment. "I know it feels hot, but I need you to stay warm. It's cold here, if you catch a cold it'll just get worse. And I'm afraid Iceland's too far away to go to." He adjusted the cloth on his forehead and bit his lip sympathetically. "Sorry Tonio." -

"My eyes, hm? Shouldn't your ring match your eyes?" He'd actually started to get cold again, so he shrugged the covers up higher and sighed. "S' okay, let's just take a nap." -
Lovino pouted. "My eyes are ugly. Besides, I'd rather have a ring that reminded me of you." He decided to take a chance at being the one to initiate cuddles that day, wrapping his arms around Antonio and hugging him tightly.

"Lovino!" Antonio exclaimed, hugging him with one arm. "Your eyes are beautiful, they're gorgeous, I love them. I love them so much." He yawned, but then went right back to speaking. "You look so wonderful with them, you should like them too."

Lovino blushed, not expecting such a strong response. "B-Beautiful?" he squeaked, turning red. "Just- Just go to sleep, idiot." he mumbled, smiling happily to himself as he nuzzled closer. "Ti amo."

Antonio nodded. "Very," he stated, and then yawned once again. "Just a minute.. Lovino, are you smiling? Can I see you smile, you've got the best smile in the whole world."

"Just 'cause you're sick..." Lovino blushed, clearly incredibly embarrassed, but tentatively looked up at Antonio, a content smile still playing on his lips.

Antonio smiled just the same, sighing contentedly while his hands went up to cup Lovino's cheeks. "That's the most wonderful thing I've ever seen in my life, never stop smiling."

Lovino pressed his cheek against Antonio's hand, closing his eyes. "You'd better never leave me then. You're the reason I smile, Antonio." he murmured affectionately. He gently moved to hold Antonio's hand, feeling the smooth bump of the ring on his finger. -

Antonio smiled, quite proud of himself for being the reason that Lovino smiled. "I will never, ever leave you, Lovino Vargas." -

"I love you," Lovino breathed, his heart beating faster at the way Antonio said his name like he was the most precious thing in the world. "I love you so much." he said softly, yawning and pressing soft, sleepy kisses to whatever skin he could reach. -
Antonio wanted to be careful to keep the thing on his forehead from falling off, so he didn't move much, but he was smiling as his eyes shut. "I love you too, lots and lots," he said.

Lovino smiled again, surprised to find tears pricking his eyes at Antonio's sweetness. He fought to keep his eyes open, wanting to stay up until Antonio fell asleep in case he needed anything.

Antonio's eyes shut, and he soon fell asleep, his head lolling to the side a bit so that the cloth fell from his forehead. He was dreaming about Lovino, of course, and going to Iceland to see penguins and whatever else was there.
