Antonio paid no attention to the other people in the bar, and just chuckled at Lovino. He kept drinking his beer, until it was gone, and he was gesturing for the waiter for more. All the while, he was clinging to Lovino, rubbing up on his leg and cuddling his shoulder.
Four beers in, he turned to Lovino and nuzzled his face into his neck. "Lovi, Lovi, yo tengo sueno." -
Lovino, who'd had just as much wine as Antonio, was starting to feel a bit dizzy, but he shook it off, practically purring as he listened to Antonio murmur in Spanish. The Italian pressed closer to him and smiled. One of the men rose, followed by a few others, and started towards the table where the two of them were, sitting in a position that suggested much more than friends.
-
Antonio, still buried in Lovino's shoulder, continued mumbling away in a language he knew Lovino didn't know. "Te amo, Lovi. Pero yo tengo sueno. Estoy cansado. Necesito que dormir ahora."

*beer not wine wut
-
Lovino blushed. 'Te amo' was one of the few Spanish phrases he actually understood. Unfortunately, so did one of the men, and his eyes narrowed as they reached the table. Lovino glanced up and his smile vanished. He wanted to push himself away from Antonio, back to a normal position, but the other half of him wanted to shrink further into his arms, to feel hidden and protected. He did neither, sitting frozen, staring up at the men. "Ah, the circus," One man said, a hint of recognition in his voice. "Figures they'd have a couple freaks like this." The surrounding men nodded, all looking disgusted. A few of the other people eating and drinking glanced over.
-
Antonio looked up, blinking at the men. They were a little wavy in his vision, but he thought he heard what they were saying. "...Hm?" He hummed, sitting up a little straighter.
-
Lovino scooted back, but he didn't far before one of the men reached out grabbed his arm. Another grabbed at Antonio, dragging the two away from their table. Another man in a suit, presumably the owner of the pub, looked on. "Don't worry," One assured him. "We'll get these scoundrels out of here for you." They forced then both out of the pub and into the side street, where they were hidden between the pub and the next building. Lovino squirmed, his heart racing. He didn't know what to do, his vision kept blurring and felt sick when he saw Antonio being held by another one of them.
-
Antonio only realized what was going on when he was pulled to his feet. His head suddenly ached, and he felt like he was going to throw up. The Spaniard was strong- he worked with elephants, after all- but these men were just as strong, and as he pulled they pulled right back. He squirmed and fought, but was tugged out into the alley just the same. He looked over at Lovino, eyes widening. "Lovi!"
-
The grip on his arms tightened and Lovino winced. He was beginning to panic, his breathing quickened as he struggled to pull away from his stronger captor. "Let him go!" He pleaded. "Please, leave him alone!" Some of the men grinned, the rest of them still looked disgusted. "Please, he's drunk, it's my fault. He didn't know what he was doing..." Lovino frantically tried to convince them that Antonio was innocent.
-
Antonio felt like he was going to throw up at any second, but he saw them holding Lovino and he was so worried that they were hurting him that he held back the bile in his throat, "Please, please," he mumbled, then coughed, swallowing. "Oh, god," he groaned, knees weakening.
-
The men seemed to buy Lovino's story, because they released their grip on Antonio. Lovino sighed in relief. "Get out of here," He said quietly, pleadingly, praying that Antonio would just leave and go safely back to the circus grounds. "Please..."
-
Antonio fell to his knees, sitting on his feet and wavering back and forth. "But, Lovino, we've got to--" he hiccuped, shaking his head. "Got to get back to the circus. Gotta show tonight."
-
"I know, I'll be there, okay?" Lovino reassured him, hoping that in his drunken state, he would believe him and go back. "Just leave, please..." The man behind him tightened his grip again and Lovino bit back a whimper.
-
"You don't know them, though..." Antonio pushed himself into standing, facing one of the men who'd been holding him before. "You tell them to let us go, yah?"
-
"Antonio, please go, I promise I'll be there soon, okay?" He was growing desperate, feeling another jolt of panic as he watched Spaniard stand and face one of the men, who glared at him.
