As soon as he felt himself being dropped to the floor, he stumbled back, away from the dragon, eyes wide with fright. He didn't risk running, he knew that the dragon could easily catch him again, and kill him if the creature felt like it. He pressed back against one of the cave walls and examined the dragon with a mixture of awed admiration and cautious fear. "...Are you going to kill me?" He asked finally, not really expecting a verbal answer, or really any answer at all.
-
The dragon paused, shrugged, and headed deeper into the cave. There was a spot where the tracks had led over a small ravine, but eventually deteriorated and fell in. While he could easily leap across, he knew the human couldn't. He waited for him to follow, extending a wing across the gap.
-
Cyrus, taking the hint as the dragon started off further into the tunnel. Still squinting in the darkness, he could just barely make out the large ravine, and the wing that the dragon had so courteously extended over it. "You want me to cross..?" He took a tentative step forward, glancing at the beast for some sort of recognition.
-
He let out an almost-encouraging coo, staring across at the human. He figured he could hardly see, so he'd need to start a fire soon.
-
The sound the dragon replied with sounded more like encouragement than a threat to eat him, Cyrus took another step out, and quickly crossed over the ravine, stepping gingerly off the dragon's wing onto the other side of the tunnel. "Thanks."
-
He gave an acknowledging grunt and stood to walk further into the cave. He couldn't just hold on to a human like this, but ripping him to shreds and leaving him on a roadside didn't seem to be an appropriate response, either. He definitely couldn't eat him, that was probably partial cannibalism, in a way.
-
Cyrus followed obediantly, still wondering about the dragon's intentions. If the thing had wanted to kill him, he'd probably be dead by now, so Cyrus silently wondered what other reason the dragon might have for kidnapping him.
-
He figured a solution would come to him eventually. He paused and lashed out his tail, a sign to the human to stop. A hole in the ceiling let in a small amount of moonlight. He shot out a short burst of flame at a pile of wood and other debris in the center of a the cave clearing, washing every surface with warm, orangish light.
-
Cyrus blinked at the sudden light and tilted his head, finally getting a better look at the cave, and the dragon. "So..." He cleared his throat a little awkwardly. "What exactly do you want from me?"
-
By the edge of the wall, there was a softly rubbed indent into the stone where a dragon had rested for a few centuries. He settled there and stared at the human for a moment, then shrugged again.

Nu I didn't see you post sorryyyyy D:)
Cyrus watched the dragon settle down and took a seat himself, on a large rock nearby. He couldn't help but stare at his captor. As frightening as the dragon was, it was also very beautiful. -
He watched the human tiredly, but curiously. His stomach growled faintly, reminding him that he hadn't successfully brought home a catch. He stood, stretched a bit, then glanced at both the human and the fire.
-
Cyrus swallowed nervously. Stomach growling wasn't a good sign, especially with the dragon looking between him and the fire, as if deciding whether to cook him or eat him raw.
-
He wandered off deeper into the cave and came back with a pile of firewood in his jaw. He dropped it by the human and headed out to hunt for something.
