David covered his eyes as he stumbled into the kitchen, grinning brightly. "Maurice, you're still in your underclothes, you dolt!" The younger laughed, and but into the loaf of bread, buttering a slice for his lover. "You act as if you haven't seen me with less, my love." He watched as the man sat down, lowered his hand, and began stuffing his face. After a few bites, though, he stopped, and grinned. "What if someone comes in? I would hate to have to share the view." It went on like that, them play-arguing, until David rose, saying he had to get dressed and head to the mill. Maurice set to clearing the table, preparing for a day of housework and tending to the livestock. He wished that it was time to plant his wheat, but it wasn't yet- It would be, though, in a couple more weeks.
David kissed him on the top of the head before leaving, shutting the door behind him.
It was hours later that Maurice realized he had forgotten to tell him where his lunch was. The young man slipped on a shirt, changed his underwear- He had been on his hands and knees, cleaning the floor, after all- And slipped on a pair of pants, tucking his shirt in. He didn't bother with shoes- It was a long walk, but a smooth one, and he didn't mind dirty feet, maybe even preferred it. He grabbed the lunch basket, and headed for the road, enjoying the idea of eating with his love. -
The brown leather soles of Edward's boots landed hard on the ground as he vaulted himself off the ship. Soft thumps sounded around him as the rest of his crew swung themselves onto land. A few drew their weapons, most already had the at hand. They ranged from polished pistols to gleaming swords. "You lot spread out. Remember, out priorities are food, money, and women. Kill anyone else you like." He explained with a smile. The crew shouted their approval and took off running in all different directions towards the town. Edward himself grinned and set off walking, sauntering towards a peculiar house set apart from the rest. Perhaps he'd find something interesting there...
-
David met Maurice in the middle of the road, half a mile from the house. He had been running, and was breathing hard. The young blonde started talking, but David picked him up without a word, and ran all the way back to the house before he said anything. Somewhere along the way, Maurice had dropped the lunch basket, and the boy was complaining about that, begging David for an explanation. He shut up, though, as the door was slammed shut, and locket. "Pirates," David mumbled, out of breath. "Bed. Under the bed. Now, Maurice."
-
He twirled his sword absentmindedly as he made his way up the hill. His other hand swept his shaggy golden bangs out of his eyes and fiddled with the feathers hanging from his hat. Food was obviously important, and money was always a nice find, but what the carefree captain always hoped to find was a woman. Just someone to take aboard the ship with him for a while, to toy with and then to discard. As he got to the house he chuckled to himself, a wolfish grin still plastered onto his face. He rapped his fist hard three times on the door, and called out to whoever might be inside. "Open up, or I break this door down." He warned.
-
Maurice stood in silent shock, staring at his husband, letting the words sink in. He jumped at the knock, and would have screamed, if David hand't shoved him towards their bedroom, shaking his head wearily. The younger stumbled into the wall, and then spun, darting into the room to do as he was ordered. David hadn't stored any weapons in the house. He didn't believe in violence, and therefor, they were completely unprotected.
-
Edward could faintly hear a few shuffling sounds. Someone was home. After another moment, the door remained closed, so the captain summoned up his strength and delivered a mighty kick to the door, successfully clearing the way. He smirked and stepped inside the house, his sword raised. He glanced around, and nearly burst out laughing. There wasn't a weapon in sight. This was going to be even easier- though less fun, it was rather amusing to see simple farm workers attempt to outmuscle the well-trained pirate- then he'd thought.
-
Maurice winced at the sound of the door opening, covering his mouth to keep from crying out. David hadn't made it to the bedroom, and instead stood silently in the middle of the room, staring at the man who had just barged into their home. Without allowing anymore to be done, the older man began talking, quickly. "I don't care what you want, take it. Money, food, valuables. Anything you touch is your's. Please, don't hurt us-- Me, though." He slipped up, wincing at the indication that he wasn't alone.
-
Can I join?
-
"Us?" He asked, his grin widening gleefully. "So you're not alone...a wife, perhaps?" He chuckled, his gaze flickering back and forth between the man before him and the door that presumably led to the bedroom, where whoever else was in the house had most likely gone into hiding. "Tell me, who else is here, hm?" He cooed, his blade glinting dangerously in the light from the window.

(No, it's a 1x1 soap. Sorry.)
David said nothing, but moved so that he was blocking the door to the bedroom. He pressed his lips together in a firm line, unwilling to say anything that would even suggest where his lover was. He was more than aware that he would probably be killed, but he didn't care. At this point, Maurice's safety was all that mattered. -
Edward gave an irritated grunt and thrust his sword forward, the point resting against the man's chest. "Move, or you will die where you stand." He spoke loudly. Maybe if whoever this man was hiding heard him, she would make a sound- some indication that there were, in fact, two people in the house. He moved the point up towards his neck and narrowed his eyes.

I gtg, sorry!!)
-
The man shook his head, taking a slow, deep breath. "I will not." At that moment, though, the door opened behind him. Maurice stood quietly, staring at the sword. David glared at him, but said nothing, although his shoulders trembled. He had wanted desperately for Maurice to be safe, but he had ruined every chance of that now.
"Don't kill him," The blond begged, trying hard not to sound weak, or girly like he always did. "Take anything you want, just please.. Don't kill him." -
Edward grinned, enjoying how frightened the both of them looked. "As much as I'd love to spare him, you see, he's been a bit of a nuisance trying to protect you, you see. So I'm afraid he has to die." He explained with a falsely-apologetic smile. He brought the sword back just slightly, then swiftly sliced across, slitting the man's throat. With his free hand he lunged forward, trying to grab the blonde.
