Antonio made his way into the room, tossing his backpack onto his bed- top bunk, because when they'd first moved in he'd wanted his room mate to be able to hop out of bed quick enough in the event of a fire. Once he'd swung the Jansport product filled with his school clothes and books onto the proper bunk, he turned back to face Lovino. "Lovino. Please, can't I have a bad day without you making it worse?"
-
Aw that's so sweet of him the whole for thing X3)
Lovino crossed his arms. "You're not the only one who's had a s---ty day. And it's not my fault you left your own damn keys in the room." He argued, his frustration growing. -
Antonio was untying the bow that held together the back of his red apron at that point. "Just leave me alone about it. Because I know you, and I know you're going to stand there and pester me all night."
-
"Well if you didn't want me to pester you, you shouldn't have forgotten the f---ing keys in the first place!" He snapped. He'd had a long day, and yelling at Antonio seemed like a good way to vent. Besides, he knew the normally cheerful Spaniard would never actually fight back. He'd never really gotten mad at him before.
-
Antonio was starting to feel something well up in his chest. He recognized it as anger, though it was nothing he really ever felt towards Lovino. "It was one time. Why do you have to blow up at me for forgetting my keys one time?"
-
"I was trying to work! I've got enough to do without having to babysit you every time you forget something!" He had turned away from his desk now, focused all on Antonio. He looked...angry, which slightly surprised Lovino.
-
"And I was just getting home from work! How hard was it for you to stand up and open the door? It's about five feet away from you. You didn't even have to say anything." Antonio tugged off the apron, absentmindedly twisting it into a roll in his hands.
-
Lovino's arms fell to his sides and he clenched his fists. "And I suppose I'm just supposed to do whatever you say, right? Shut up and be good and obediant, right?" He made a habit of grumbling at his roommate, but today he was actually mad.
-
"No!" Antonio took a step forward. "But it would be really great if you would stop acting like a little kid for once, and maybe then I wouldn't have to always feel like I'm babysitting a whiny toddler!"
-
Lovino fell silent for a moment. He'd always felt like that? When Antonio took a step forward he knew he should be more cautious, but he couldn't help his temper glaring up again. "So I'm really such a burden to you, huh?" He asked sharply. "All this time I've just been another problem for you to deal with." He growled. "You b------."
-
Antonio felt that his face was hot and red in anger, his hand now tight around the rolled-up apron. "That's not what I said. And you need to stop cussing."
-
"A whiny toddler.." He repeated, wearing an expression of pure anger. When Antonio warned him to stop cussing he scoffed. "f---ing make me."
-
"Shut up Lovino!" Antonio shouted, suddenly reaching forward to match his command by pushing Lovino backwards with both hands, hard. He'd never been one to get mad, let alone physically angry, but he was only thinking about getting Lovino to leave him alone.
-
Lovino stumbled back, tripping over his own feet and landing hard on the floor of their shared room. He stared up at Antonio with wide eyes, completely shocked. I
For the Spaniard to get angry was unusual, but for him to actually touch Lovino- to shove him away- was unthinkable. His lips parted, but he didn't say anything. He didn't know what to say. -
As one last measure, after a long moment of quiet, Antonio swung his rolled apron at Lovino, throwing it right at his head. Before the Italian could say anything to him, the Spaniard was quick to talk to stop him. "There. I f---ing made you. Now shut up and go to bed." He spun on his heel, turning back towards the bunk beds to slink away into his bed.
