Lovino lay there in shock for just a moment longer, before swiftly jumping to his feet. He threw the apron- which he had ungraciously caught with his face- into the corner and glared at Antonio. "Fine," He muttered, mentally cursing when his voice came out a bit shaky. "If I'm really such a pain then I'll f---ing leave." And he did. He stormed out of the room, having no idea where he might go. He would have to come back eventually, but for now he just didn't want to be near his roommate.
I gtg, sorry!!) -
((Kay, bye~))
Antonio had pulled his covers over his head once the door slammed shut behind his room mate. The Spaniard hadn't really calmed down yet- only enough to have the urge to throw an umbrella out the window, in case Lovino went outside and found that he might need it. Not enough it hand it to him. -
Lovino shoved his hands into his pockets and stormed out of the building. Still not sure of his destination, he set out walking across the campus. It was cool outside, and the sky was beginning to grow dark, matching his mood. He still couldn't believe Antonio had actually pushed him. And what he'd said before, about always feeling like he had to babysit Lovino...The Italian sighed and glared at the ground as he walked. Stupid Antonio. He was startled out of his thoughts when a large raindrop splashed directly onto his head. It was followed by another, and another, and soon enough he was caught in the middle of the downpour. He cursed a few times and turned back towards where he'd come from, hoping his 'babysitter' would be asleep.
-
Antonio was too distracted to notice the rain at first; he was still laid in bed, now taling breath after breath, each one calming him down. He was starting to really think about what had happened, how he'd actually gone so far as to hurt Lovino. When he heard the pattering of the rain on the windows, finally, he swallowed and sat up. Poor Lovino, he thought, out in the rain by himself. And- he looked over to the desk, seeing that the Italian hadn't even bothered to pick up his room key.
As one last kind measure, the Spaniard hopped out of the bunk, rushing to the desk. He plucked up the key, and slipped it under the door before climbing back into bed. This was, at least, if Lovino decided to come home he wouldn't be locked out. -
When he finally arrived back at the room, he was completely soaked and dripping. He spotted the key outside the door and leaned down to pick it up. He felt a little foolish, after making such a big deal when Antonio had forgotten his own keys, but he shook his head. He was stil mad at him. Although, Lovino wasn't even sure it was anger. Mostly shock, and maybe...maybe even a little hurt. He'd been under the impression that his happy-go-lucky roommate wouldn't hurt a fly, and definitely wouldn't hurt Lovino himself. But obviously he was wrong.
He slipped into the room as quietly as possible, setting the key on his desk, grabbing some dry clothes, and slipping into the bathroom to change. He reappeared a few minutes later, still shivering slightly from the icy rain. He sat down on his bunk with a little sigh. -
Antonio tried to fall asleep, staying quietly hidden under his sheets in a way to avoid confronting Lovino. He was still too upset to feel the need to apologize, but had a feeling that he may have been a bit too rude to his room mate.
When he felt the bed move, he knew that Lovino must have gotten onto his bunk. At that point, Antonio had already been trying to sleep for a good time and he still wasn't tired. So, he searched his bunk with his hands until he found his backpack, and pulled out a pad of post-it notes and a pen. He scribbled a little note on the post it: "I don't think you're a pain." Then, he dropped the note over the side of the bunk so that it fluttered down to the ground. -
Lovino eyes the note. Part of him wanted to pick it up, apologize to Antonio, and have things go back to normal. But his hair was still dripping, he was freezing cold, and his shoulder was slightly sore from where he'd been shoved, three things that made his already bad mood worse. So he stubbornly turned away from the note. Even he'd decided to respond, he wasn't sure what he'd say. Lovino still had trouble coming to terms with the fact that Antonio had put his hands on him, and had maybe even meant to hurt him.
Although the note said otherwise, the Spaniard's argument had made it very clear that he saw Lovino as a nuisance. And of course he would never admit it out loud, he was a little hurt. He'd always thought Antonio had enjoyed being roommates with him, had maybe even liked Lovino. He sighed and curled up in the sheets, wondering how Antonio himself was feeling about the whole incident. -
*eyed
*Even if
*loud, but he
Sorry XD)) -
Antonio had been gazing down at the top of Lovino's head from his own perch up on the top bunk, peeking out from under the sheets for a sign that the auburn-haired Italian had even made a move to get the note. When the boy below him only slunk into the sheets of his bed, Antonio saw that it was clear that Lovino wasn't going to be reading the note.
Not that he blamed him. After all, he'd actually pushed him. Maybe even hurt him, Antonio didn't know, but considering how hard he'd pushed he would think it would be painful. It gave him an uneasy, sick feeling, and even though it was hardly even that late and he hadn't touched his homework yet, the Spaniard curled up and closed his eyes to try and sleep. -
As the minutes stretched on, curiosity was eating away at Lovino. He did want to read Antonio's note, but his pride and pain for the best of him and remained still. He closed his eyes and sighed again, a long, somewhat sad sound. He wasn't really tired, and he hadn't finished his work yet, but he tried to will himself to fall asleep. It was easier than facing Antonio.
-
While it took him another couple of minutes, Antonio did fall asleep. The silence of the room was odd, ominous and made him uncomfortable, but it helped him get to sleep faster than usual.
Though, it didn't soothe any dreams. With what was on his mind, the Spaniard awoke no more than two hours later, flinching into a sitting position. He'd had a dream that he'd pushed Lovino again, only this time, he really hurt him- and it was more like a nightmare. At that point, guilt was eating away at him, and without moving, he whispered, "Lovi, are you awake?" -
Lovino, who had been tossing and turning for the past two hours, sat up in his own bunk. "...Yeah." He hesitated before answering. He was actually a bit relieved to hear Antonio, the stifling silence of the room had been bothering him.
Might poof, sorry!!) -
Antonio sighed out a relieved breath, glad to know that at least Lovino was responding to him and not ignoring him. "...Okay... Did you see my note..?"
-
Lovino grumbled something and leaned over the side of the bed, grabbing the post-it and taking a moment to read it. He was quiet for a few more seconds before replying. "You don't have to spare my feelings." He muttered. "You made how you feel pretty clear earlier."
-
Antonio felt another pang of quilt, because he could tell he'd really hurt Lovino. Somewhat, both physically and mentally, he'd hurt him. "I didn't mean it, though. I was just mad."
