Alice closed her eyes a bit and smiled. "She is a smart girl...I wonder why she's here though..." Red stopped messing around for a moment and glanced at them both.

I've been hunting since 4 this morning :I)
Hatter sighed and held her tightly. "Do you not know her story?" He asked Alice quietly. He knew of a large library between worlds, much like all roads lead to Roam. It held all the fairy tales known and he had been there a few times. -
Geez chick. :3)
She blinked lightly and thought back to her childhood, her sister would read it to her alot, but it never really made sense to a six year old child. "I don't really remember much of it..." -
I've passed up eight doe too! :P)
Hatter nuzzled her neck and chuckled his breath warm and soft on her skin. "She was on her way to her grandmothers when a big bad wolf stopped her.. He lied saying he knew a short cut but it was actually longer because he took the short cut instead." -
Is that bad?)
She blushed deeply and pushed him away a bit. "Hatter stop, Red is here..." she sighed lightly, finally remembering the story finally. "Now I remember..." -
No.. Means the deer are moving and I'm waiting for a buck.)
Hatter pulled himself to the side and went back to playing with her hair. "Mhm." He said simply and looked at Red. "Do you like rabbits Red?" He mused with a flicker of his old self in his eyes. -
Oh.)
She huffed lightly and glanced at Red, waiting for her answer. The little girl thought for a moment, her nose scrunched up a bit. "Rabbits...?" She glanced up at both of them with an oddly confused question. -
Hatter pulled his hat swiftly from his head and held it upside down in his hands. "Yes Rabbits, little fluffy creatures that eat carrots and drink tea?" He mused as he pulled out a little stuffed toy animal. It was a fluffy white rabbit with a little red vest on it.

Red scrunched up her nose again. "I don't remember..." she mumbled a bit, a puzzled look on her face as she poked the toy lightly. Alice glanced at hattet curiously.

Hatter say down on the floor before Red and shrugged handing her the toy. "They hop around like this.." He used the toy to demonstrate. "And they're really soft and fluffy."

Red still had a puzzled look on her face and sighed in defeat. "I...don't remember..." Alice sat down near hatter and placed her hand on his shoulder, looking at Red. "Red...how long have you been here?" The girl brightened up a bit oddly enough. "Three...no...four years."

Hatter rubbed his face and looked at Red before putting his hat on her head. The hat fell over her eyes and he smiled as he watched her.

Red blinked and glanced up at the hat, taking it off her head and she looked down into the hat, seeing nothing. Alice blinked and heard footsteps getting closer to the room. "Hatter you have to go now." -
(... You're going to die.)
Hatter took his hat and kissed Alice quickly. "Hide the toy." He mumbled against her lips before going out the window and into the yard. From there he got back to his room and the common room where Ches was still playing checkers. -

She blushed lightly and watched him go. "Be safe..." she smiled a bit and took the toy, placing it into a secure spot to where the guards could not find it. One guard entered and glanced at Red. "Time for your test child." Red looked panicked and ran over to Alice, hiding behind her dress. Alice glared at the guard being protective of the little girl.
