Alice looked angry. "And you didn't think of telling me that they were coming?!" She was extremely angry at him. They never kept anything from each other, ever since she came back from Earth to Wonderland.

"If I told you, you would have panicked! I did everything to keep you safe and you saw how I failed.." He glared and looked out the window. "Now I don't know what to do!" He threw his hands up and turned his back on Alice.

"You swore to tell me everything hatter!" She frowned lightly and soon felt guilt. "Look we both weren't able to protect anyone in Wonderland Hatter."

He crossed his arms over his chest much like a child and continued to face away from her. "Chesire has changed a lot, too much for my liking. He's a mere kitten again. This place.. It has magic that only a powerful sorcer could hold.. Or more then one." He frowned as he thought about this.

Red popped her head out from under the bed and mumbled loudly. "Professor Cricket..." she then shot back under the bed.
Alice blinked an bent down to look at Red. "Dear...please don't hide under the bed, Hatter won't hurt you." -
Hatter rubbed his face. "I'm sorry kid, I'm just stressed right now.. Nice to meet you." He gave her a shy smile and tipped his hat towards her before looking out the window. "Cricket.."

Red mumbled a hi back as she crawled slowly out from under the bed. She then sat on the bed as a small yawn escaped from her mouth.
Alice glanced at him. "Cricket? Who is cricket, someone you know from another world?" -
"Kinda.." He frowned and watched Red. If him and Alice had a child would it possibly look like this little girl? Shaking his head to clear his thoughts he sighed. "He's a good man so it dosent make sense that he's making this place.. Someone else has to be behind it."

Red blinked curiously at Hatter, thinking for a moment when a nursery rhyme, Humpty Dumpty came to mind, but soon her brow thinkened a bit as she forgot the rest of the words.
She huffed lightly at him. "hm...is he nice?" She was curious, seeing him glance at Red. She walked over and fixed her hood. -
A small smile slid across her lips for a moment as he watched them both. "Cricket? Yes. A nice.. Person indeed." He sighed and shoved both hands into his pockets and looked out the window.

Red huffed lightly and swatted Alice's hands away from her head. "No help." She started to fix her hood carefully. A small yawn escaped from her lips as she slowly start to fall asleep.
Alice smiled a bit and helped Red get comfortable in the bed. The wool blanket she pulled over Red was a bit short, but it would have to do. She glanced at Hatter and walked over to him, hugging him from behind. -
Hatter shivered at her touch and leaned into it. "We could of had a nice life.. A child of our own.." He never told her this, that he wanted a family with her. "Oh Alice.." He sighed and turned in her arms so he could kiss her head.

She blushed deeply and sighed. "But we are stuck here Hatter, maybe I could figure out a way to escape..." she mumbled lightly, slowly getting lost in thought.

"Shh.. I'll figure it out." He smiled and looked up as they heard steps coming down the hall. I must go.. I love you." He kissed her quickly before climbing out the window.

She felt his quick kissing and brought herself out of her thoughts, but it was too late, Hatter was already out the window. "I love you too...".she mumbled lightly, hearing footsteps coming closer to the room.
