Jack then gave him chocolate ice cream, sang him a song and tried using magic. It all failed. He then came back to Shadow and Tiger and said "I give up. I can't figure out how to get Mephiles' memory back."

Shadow bit her lip at that but said nothing. She tried to choke down any tears, but she was weakening.

Jack just then had an idea. "I got something but it's a little crazy. Shadow, you have to kiss Mephiles." he said.

"Shadow's kiss!" -
