OR We could have one of them get kidnapped (shadow maybe) have them get cloned into a genderbend, then the two work together, break free, along with three other mutants)

I actually have an idea for Mephiles. He gets bored and wanders into a different dimension and loses his memory. The others then travel to this dimension and try to get his memory back.
