Levi was resting on his back, knowing that he shouldn't have left Eren alone, but the pain was starting to itch it's way in. All he wanted to do was sleep it off for a little while, and the bed was much more comfortable for his leg than the couch, softer. The captain relaxed into the pillow and shut his eyes to try to get some sleep. -

Eren took this as a sign of 'go do your own thing' rather than 's--- I'm in pain I need to rest'. He walked out of the kitchen with his hands folded behind his head. The brunette started to march towards his own room, unsure of what else to do. As much as Eren wanted to sneak out and kill more titans, he knew that he'd probably screw up and get injured. Or even worse.. Die. But the teenager didn't want to think about that. Instead, he walked towards his room at a slow rate, wondering if anyone would want to speak to him. Perhaps Levi wanted him to be by his side? Hmmm.. "Nah," Eren said aloud as he shook his head. "I don't think so.." -

Levi was sound asleep, breathing lightly as it seemed he was having a pleasant and rather peaceful dream. His brow furrowed, not in an angry way, and he began to mumble softly. But his rest was disturbed when pain shot from his leg upward, awakening him from his rest. He cursed and lokked down to see the familiar blonde examining the injury. "Erwin..?"

Eren didn't realize it, but he was ever so slowly shuffling towards Levi's room. Only when he was halfway there did he realize he had gone the completely wrong way. The confused brunette narrowed his eyes, staring at his own feet. Why did he go the wrong way? He knew exactly where his own room was. And Levi needed.. Well, Levi time. He turned around, walking back towards his room. Even if Eren didn't realize it, his heart had been longing for the stern captain. And it wanted to stay by his side forever. Eren, on the other hand, thought that Levi was a rude captain who was purposely mean to him.

Levi winced and cringed at every touch to the practically black bruise. No wonder it hurt; It was as large as his arm! Even though Erwin was just trying to help, it hurt like hell to be touched. "I'm about to knock your teeth out if you don't stop that!"
The larger man smiled at him sadly. "Sorry, but even a bruise needs treating. Be glad that we kept Hanji from coming in to look you over. She'd have ripped your clothing from you to check for more." The blonde laughed light-heartedly as he received a glare that clearly said 'she would die before that'.
"Well your help is just causing more pain.." The smaller murmured and tried to move his leg away. "I'll take care of it myself when I feel like it."

Eren entered his room, yelping as he tripped over someone's foot and fell face first onto his floor. "A-Ah! Eren, I'm so sorry!" A worried face called out. The irritated brunette flipped himself around, his eyes meeting with Armin's. "Armin? What're you doing here?" The blonde held out a hand, pulling his friend up. "I had some time off, so I decided to come see you.. I heard that Levi carried you in earlier today. What was that all about?"
Armin stepped out of the way as Eren trudged over to his bed. He jumped onto it, grinning at Armin. "Well, you see.. I was cleaning, and I did such a good job that Levi took me out. Oh, and I challenged him to a titan killing contest, and that stubborn guy accepted! Anyways, we went out, and we fought them. I was like, on top of two of them, and it was cool..." Eren went on describing what had happened with wild hand motions. Armin listened with wide eyes. When Eren finished, he added, "After I blacked out, I forgot what happened after I saw Levi get whacked.. I wish I knew what happened. He said I saved him twice, but that could be some made up crap to make me feel good about our tie." Armin thought about what he had said. The blonde shook his head, replying, "Captain Levi is too serious for that. I'm sure you intentionally saved him in your titan form. But to know that you were able to do that.. It makes me wonder, how does it work? It seems like you're calm when you have a clear purpose with someone close, but at the same time, you don't always get control.. I suppose it'll just be another mystery, huh?" Eren laughed, scratching the back of his neck. "I guess so."

Levi had shifted onto his stomach, his arms folded under his chin, grumbling and glaring as he looked forward. The blonde continued to treat the bruise, being as careful as he could. But such a large person in comparison to the smaller captain, Erwin's fingers were bigger and still caused the dark-haired man discomfort. Levi let out a sigh of relief as a cold rag was placed over his bruise. "Bout time..."
"Still as hard as always, are you? Well, now you can relax and let the swelling finally go down. Someone as skilled as you shouldn't be getting hurt so easily, and when you do, it's best to treat you immediately to bring you back to health." Erwin explained to the half-listening Levi. He smiled and went to stand beside him. "So stubborn."
Before he had a chance to respond, Levi felt his head being tugged to the side, lips pressed firmly together in a fierce kiss. His legs shook, turning to jelly where he was lying, as soon as he felt a tongue against his own then a break. "It's been awhile. Come see me when you're feeling better, Lance Corporal Levi."
As the other walked out, the smaller captain was burying his face in his pillow, face red from embarrassment. He was skilled and confident in everything. Except for romance. Even the slightest bit of affection or intimacy made him feel as weak as a newborn calf.

Eren laid back down onto his bed, sighing. "Say, Armin, have you seen Levi around? I took him to the kitchen to get him some food, but when I got some for myself and went to find him, he was gone." The brunette locked his gaze on the blonde. Armin sat down on the couch, a thoughtful look in his eyes. "When I was passing by to get to your room, I saw him in there. But he was asleep, so.. I'm sure he was just tired." Armin put his chin on one of his hands. "Why do you ask?"
Eren frowned at Armin's question. He didn't have an answer. Why did he ask? "I dunno. I guess I'm just way too used to him breathing on my neck like he usually does.." He snorted, shaking his head. "I'm used to his stare."
"Eren, that isn't very normal.."
"Sure it is! He's like Mikasa. But he's creepier than her."
"Are you saying that your sister is creepy?"
"No.."
"You just did that."
"Did not!"
The two shot back comments to themselves. They knew the little argument was pointless, but it wasn't like they had anything interesting to do. However, Armin had to take off to go train, so their little get together was cut short. Eren waved goodbye to his best friend as the blonde took off to go do his training, leaving the titan shifter alone. Eren looked down at his feet, a sigh escaping his lips. He didn't enjoy being alone, and for a moment, he found himself wanting the captain's company. But Armin said that he had been sleeping, so he had no choice but to keep himself locked in his room alone.

When he finally calmed down, Levi admitted that his calf was starting to feel a bit better, and when he glanced back, finally noticing that his pant leg had been rolled up. He hadn't paid that close of attention while Erwin had been looking it over and treating it, but the captain was fully taking it in now. He groaned and slowly got up, setting the damp rag aside. The pain was still there, so he avoided putting weight on it as he made his way out of the room to find and check on Eren. The kid was his responsibility.

Eren had no idea what he should do. At first, he started singing stuff that sounded good in his head. But that quickly became boring. He tried several different activities until he had only one thing left to do: clean. The brunette made his bed before getting cleaning supplies to start cleaning the dust and other various objects up. While cleaning, Eren thought about what he had done that morning with Levi and he thought about Armin's questions. Did Eren only have semi control when he was protecting someone? No.. I tried to kill Mikasa.. And that's someone I would have rather wanted to protect..

Levi hubbled around, using his eyes to look for Eren. It seemed the younger had returned to his own room for the evening. Maybe he was resting? But that didn't stop the captain from going to the titan shifter's room. He didn't know why he wanted to see Eren, but he made the excuse that it was his job to check up on him. He limped into the room, surprised to see that the brunette was actually cleaning up his room. Without being told to do so. The older silently went to sit on the bed, resting his leg and looking at the injury. Maybe he should've gotten another rag to put on the side.

The younger didn't notice the captain when he limped in because he was too caught up in his own mind. Eren was frustrated that he couldn't seem to come to an conclusion about himself. When he finished cleaning the first side of the room, he stood up and turned to see Levi sitting on his bed. Surprised, the bruntte yelped, jumping back a good few feet into the air. "S-sir! When did you get here?" He tried to hide the cleaning supplies behind his back. He was too embarrassed to admit that he actually cleaned something without being forced to. His eyes trailed down to the captian's injured leg. It looked like it was bruised. Eren set the supplies down, walking over. "Are you alright...? Do you need anything?"

Levi noticed the cleaning supplies and had to keep himself from smiling. Eren was actually starting to clean up without his superior telling him to do so. At least the younger was starting to learn. "No need to be ashamed. I'll just expect you to clean up from now on." The captain averted the titan shifter's eyes when he came over, worrying about him again. He lightly shook his head when the brunette asked if he needed anything for. "Erwin stopped by my room and..took a look at it.."
