Haven snorted. "I'd rather die than fight for you..." She mumbled. "Even though I control the dead."
(I just have this strange hatred. I feel like I'm giving Haven that Maximum Ride attitude where she hates all authority and fights against every scientist, no matter the cause.) -
(It fits with her character, though. :3 Plus Maximum Ride. :D)
The man put down his hands. "You will undergo strict training starting the moment this meeting finishes, and ending at 10 tonight. Tomorrow you will be sent to the military. Any questions?"
The room was silent.
"Good. Now there is one more thing I would like to add. Using the machine in your bodies, we can also make it so that you can't use your magic. That is all. You are dismissed. Training begins now." -
Haven growled. "I'm going to murder that guy the first chance I get." She stated to Aurora. "I don't give a crap about the military or whatever is going on." She turned. "What's this so called training, anyway?"
-
Aurora was too stunned to say anything about what was going on.
Then a woman walked forward. "I am Lieutenant Red of the military. I will be overseeing everyone's training. You are training to build up your strength and stamina. As well as to decide what your weapon or weapons of choice are going to be. The first two rows will be starting at the bladed weapon training area. Third and forth rows will start at the stamina building area. Fifth and sixth will start at strength building. Seventh and eighth will start at the firearm training area."
Aurora looked around and saw the number eight across from where she was standing. -
Haven looked over at the bladed weapons section, eyeing up a scythe of good size. "Well this looks like a peice of cake. Do we just go wherever, or..."
-
"We have numbers on a screen by our feet. I got an eight, so I'm starting at the firearm training. What's your number?" Aurora asked, trying her best to sound casual in this situation.
-
"Seven. Figures, I'm standing right next to you. So we're in the same place." She said in a bored tone. "Guns are boring... but oh well."
-
"Well, if we're actually doing this, it wouldn't hurt to have a pistol." Aurora replied. She turned and began to walk towards the firearm training area.
-
Haven sighed. "Whatever." She followed Aurora. "Though this whole thing is complete bs..." She muttered.
-
Arriving at the firearm training station, a lady turned to look at them. "Hi. If you two would choose a firearm we can begin."
Aurora nodded reluctantly. Walking stiffly over to the display, she glanced at them before her gaze landed on something. It was a long gun. "What's this?" She asked.
The lady smiled, "You have good taste. That's a PGM Hecate II sniper rifle."
A sniper rifle, huh? Aurora thought to herself. She picked it up and carefully carried it over to the shooting range. -
(I looked up guns and found a gun called the Makarov PM. :3 Lys it had a communism symbol by it.)
Haven scanned the guns before settling for a relatively small pistol. "A Makarov PM." A woman said. "Was commonly used in the Soviet Army." Haven nodded, carrying it over to the shooting range. -
(Cool~ :3
Oh my gods, Macarov
I first heard of the Hecate II in Sword Art Online 2. I really like the gun though. :3
Nothing beats Roleplaying while listening to Japanese music. :3)
The lasy explained the basics the using the sniper rifle to Aurora. Aurora nodded. She set it up and set it on the desk in front of her. She looked through the lens, trying to aim properly. What scared her wasn't using the gun, it was how calm she was using it. Holding her finger over the trigger she finally pulled it and the sound of the shot echoed. Looking at the target she saw that she shot it a few centimetres away from the centre.
The lady smiled, "not bad for your first try." -
(I've got to go to bed. I won't be on tomorrow until around 6:00 PM EST.
Goodnight!) -
*lady
I'm back~) -
I see.)
Haven held the gun up, letting the second lady show her where her fingers went. Aiming and shooting, she hit the target, not near the edge, but not necessarily close to the center either. "Pretty good for your first time." The lady commented.
