Haven snorted. "I'd rather die. Plus I'm sure there's a way to deactivate it. From now on, that's my life mission. To find a way to deactivate all these little machines."

"I hope that mission is accomplished. It would make it easier for all of us," Aurora said quietly. Then the truck rumbled to life and began to pull out of the parking spot. Aurora realized that the last time she had ridden any type of vehicle was eight years ago.

"Well machines have a power source. So there must be a power source. Probably something small and portable that the Head Scientist carries with him. Most likely some form of remote. If we destroy that, the machines won't work anymore." Haven mused.

"Yeah... That makes sense," Aurora murmured, not entirely paying attention. She was scared of what might happen to her and Haven. They learned things that most normal people shouldn't have to learn. Like how to use weapons.
(Time skip to when they arrive?) -
(Sure~)
Haven nearly fell over when the trick jolted to a stop. "What the heck?!" She shouted. "Are they trying to kill us with G Force?!" -
Aurora actually fell over when the truck stopped. "Apparently," she winced. "Are we there?" Then the heavy back doors of the truck opened, letting sunlight shine into the truck. Aurora squinted as her eyes adjusted to the bright light.

"Apparently so." Haven said, reaching for Aurora to help her back up. "You okay?"

Aurora laughed sheepishly and accepted Haven's help. "Yeah. I guess the extra weight on my back is taking a little while to get used to. Even though the rifle isn't that heavy."

Haven chuckled. "You'll get used to it." She said. "Now wanna go see what's out there?" She said, gesturing to the door.

"Sure. It's better then staying in this cramped space." Aurora stood and walked towards the door, accepting the instructors' help to get down.
