The guard raised a eyebrow at Raphael and cleared his throat "mr.koernig you have guts but I'm sorry to say you aren't getting in or I'll have to call more guards"
Maddie looked around thinking she spotted the stairway that led up to the mayors door it was pretty close by;she swiftly turned back to the guard "sir please,I doubt Raphael's going to listen he literally will beat you up" she quickly nudged Raphael and said in a whisper that he could only just hear "oy the doors pretty close by one of us could distract him whilst the other speaks to the mayor" -
Raphael nodded and his fist at the guard, keeping his other fist up to avoid any hits. After hitting the guard, he bounced a little to the side so that the guard's back would be to the staircase if he tried to hit him back.

Maddie quickly sneaked passed the guard unnoticed and gave a thumbs up to Raphael whislt whispering "I'll be right back" she went up the stars put her hand on the door and entered

He suddenly got nervous, though he didnt know why. Raphael punched the guard again, this time square in the nose, hoping to knock him out.

The guard stopped for a while before collapsing to the ground with a thud and fainted
Maddie peaked out the door to see what was going on,she saw the guard knocked out on the floor and Raphael standing by him she glared at him before quickly guesturing with her hands to come up to the office -
Raphael couldn't help but smirk a little as he stifled a laugh. Cracking his knuckles, the black haired boy ran up the stairs and to the blonde girl whom he still did not know the name of.

Maddie quickly gave him a look And said "ok,let's try talking that doesn't involve violence?!" She rolled her eyes and opened the door
A rather plump man sat behind the desk and seemed to not notice Raphael and maddie standing there without looking over he said in a dull voice "hmm..I see you made it past the guard,well it must be important,why are you here?" He looked over at Raphael -
Raphael's smirk broke into a mischievous grin. "I make no promises."
Finally, the door opened and revealed the mayor himself. Raphael narrowed his eyes coldly and stepped inside, glaring at the plump man in his desk. "I think you know exactly why we're here. If any of us alive go another day without sleep, we'll either die or fall victim to...to whatever the hell is causing people to drop dead, people that we know and love." Raphael shook with anger as he remembered his little sister. "I heard from someone that you were talking 'bout somethin' ta help?" -
Maddie couldn't help but give a slight smile back at Raphael "we'll I guess it's better then making and breaking them"
The Mayor looked up with a blank expression "look boy we are all deeply affected by this strange happening and yes we are working on something but that is none of your business we are releasing it tomorrow for a test trial but only advanced people get to see unlike you filthy teens" he continued to look down at a piece of paper hoping Raphael would leave -
The mayor looked back shocked he sighed and said "uh..well this certainly is different,I suppose my guards can take you down to the test room but don't blame me if you don't get out alive" he nodded to two guards by the door to lead Raphael and maddie down
Maddie looked over to Raphael "why would you want to protect me,we've only just met and I haven't been kind to you at all" she whispered as she walked beside him -

"You're the closest thing to a friend I have now," he whispered back, a smug smirk across his lips as they followed the guards. -

The guards stopped by a dark room with a object sitting in the middle of the room to the side they had two small box rooms side by side "here we are you'll be staying in here while we teach you about this,then tomorrow you'll be launch you inside,any requests" they said at the Same time waiting for a reply
