Maddie stood there a bit shocked at how quickly he made up his mind to do that and muttered under her breath "probably shouldn't have told him that" and rushed to catch up with him "what if this was none of our business?" She said looking at him

"What are you, a chicken? Stay behind if you'd like, but I plan on staying alive." Raphael began to break into a small jog as he headed towards the town hall.

Maddie frowned "no I'm not a chicken but what if we made things worse!" Maddie jogged by Raphael and stopped "we're here I doubt they'll give you any information" she started to walk up the steps of the town hall

The boy smirked mischievously and cracked his knuckles. "Oh, they'll talk." Raphael kept going until eventually jogging up the town hall's steps.

Maddie was unsure why she was even following this boy around but she still followed him up the stairs and glared at him "what do you plan on doing to them?! Hopefully not best them up" she stood with her hands on her hips waiting for a answer

"I will do what is necessary for survival," he replied in a dark tone as he swung open the door. "You in or not?"

Maddie looked at him and rolled her eyes "yeah ok don't kill them though"

"I make no promises. " The black haired boy stepped inside and yelled out, "YO MAYOR WHERE YOU AT?!!!"

Maddie walked in and stared at the boy for yelling at the mayor.she knew she couldn't stop him from doing anything so she sighed and went along with it.
A guard soon appeared and looked at Raphael and maddie for awhile until finally saying *oy,kiddos you ain't supposed to be In here where's yo parents" -
"My parents are dead." His voice was cold and angry. "Where's the mayor?"

Maddie looked at Raphael "sorry to hear that" she then looked towards the guard "my mothers in the hospital"
The guard glared at Raphael and said sternly "OY I'll do The questioning how old are you two and whatcha names -
Raphael growled beneath his breath. "Raphael Koernig, seventeen years old."

The guard looked down at a piece of paper and sighed "you kids get on out your not important and the Mayer has no need to see you"
Maddie replied soon after Raphael did "oh and I'm maddie er also seventeen" -
