Dawn pulled away from his hand, the wound still bleeding. "Don't." She stood up slowly as she started walking, picking up the groceries that fell out of her bags, wincing lightly because of her legs as she started walking carefully back to her flat.
He blushed deeply and shook his head. "No, it's just..." he tried to think of the right words. "You're just...cold right now..." he tilted his head lightly. "Is it because you haven't had blood in a while?" -
David sighed and followed her, grabbing her arm to make her stop. "Dawn, you're hurt. Your legs are all scratched up, you can't walk all the way back like that. He looked at her almost pleadingly. "Just let me heal you and I'll explain everything."
Shay tilted her head. "That could be it...but I don't want to bother you with it. I'll be fine." -
She pulled away from his hand. "Stay away from me monster!" She turned quickly, droplets of her tears hitting the ground as she ran back. Her legs her and were bleeding worse once she got to her flat. She placed the bag on the counter before hitting the floor, feeling dizzy.
He shook his head lightly. "I don't mind Shay you need food too." He looked down at her. -
David ignored her, and followed after her anyway. When she fell he knelt down beside her again. "Sorry about this, but you need help." With that he lifted her up, sitting down on the couch with her in his lap. He slowly began to heal the many scratches on her legs.
Shay pressed her lips together in a stubborn pout and shook her head as well. -
She squirmed in his lap. "L-let me go! I-I don't n-need your help!" She still tried to get out of his lap, eventually slamming the back of her head, hearing a small snap from his nose.
He grinned playfully. "If you don't I'll tickle you until you do." He placed his hands onto her waist and soon started tickling her. -
David swore loudly and tightened his grip on her. "For heaven's sake would you sit still for five minutes?!" He groaned. His nose was already healing, thanks to his powers, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt like hell.
Shay squirmed and laughed, but took a few steps back and shook her head. "Tickling won't change my mind!" -
Tears started streaming down her face, she was scared, extremely scared of him now. She didn't know what he was, wondering was really the only way she could calm herself down.
He grinned playfully and stopped. "Would this do it?" He tilted her head up a bit, kissing deeply as he held her close to him. -
David sighed and silently finished healing her. He sighed a second time and held her more gently, hugging her and mumbling an apology. "I'm sorry, don't be afraid. I won't hurt you, I want to help." He hated seeing her look so scared, and it killed him to know it was his fault.
Shay blushed and kissed him back before pulling away. "I-I...well...no! No, that won't work either!" She protested, although she had enjoyed that.. -
She hiccuped lightly, tears still streaming down her face. "T-then tell me w-what the h-hell you are.." she sniffed and kept crying, not even noticing her wounds were fully healed.
He grinned more and pulled her close to him again. "Shay that was a terrible lie." He mumbled in her ear lightly, nibbling on her neck playfully. -
He sighed and looked away from her. "...A demon." He muttered quietly. "Like you said...a monster..."
Shay let out a little meal of pleasure as his lips teased her neck, but she steeled herself and tried to keep quiet, once again shaking her head. -
Hearing the word demon wanted to make her cry more, but she heard the hurt in his voice at her earlier comment, she slipped out from his lap and walked to the kitchen, sitting herself on the counter. "H-how..?" She tilted her head curiously at him, the tears finally stopped falling from her face.
He grinned a bit more and he bit at her neck like she would to him. He wrapped his arms around her waist lightly. -
He shrugged. "I was born, just like a human. Except my parents are a different spices than yours, and so am I."
Shay gasped softly. "A-Alexander..." She tried to push him away slightly, not putting much force into it. -
She mumbled a low oh under her breath as she looked him over from her spot on the counter. She was hoping he would get up off the couch and come near her, but he probably hated her after she hit his nose.
He blushed lightly and unwrapped his arms from her waist. "I'm sorry..." -
David wanted to approach her again, but he didn't want to scare her either. After he'd held her down like that, made her cry, he doubted she liked him very much. But, just in case...He inched over and patted the spot next to him, silently asking her to sit with him.
-
She shook her head. "No, no, it's fine. I just don't want to be a burden, having to use you for food all the time..."
