"How much have you eaten since the games started?" Hunter asked, combing her hair some more. -

Rayna thought. They didn't eat dinner last night because they did have any food, or breakfast for that matter either. "I haven't eaten at all," she answers. This was true, but she ignored the pain in her stomach, she was used to it by now. -

Hunter grabbed his pack, taking out beef jerky for ber. "Eat." -
XD taking out beef jerky for ber huh? XD
Rayna nodded and she took the jerky from Hunter. She only at small bites at a time though, the feeling of regret still lodging in her throat. "Thank you," she says softly. -

"You are welcome." Hunter nodded, grabbing his sleeping bag. "I don't like that his blood is on me." -

"I-I've got some water to wash it off," Rayna says quickly. She was going to try and do anything that she could to make it up to him. -
drinkin an ice cold ber
"Bottled or canteen?" he asked. staring at her. -
XD oh God
"Bottled," Rayna answers while handing him the bottle. -

Hunter started to sprinkle the water onto the blood stains, thinking about how much it reminded him of his mother. -
yup yup yup.
"Do you want me to help?" Rayna asked instantly, her voice shaking. -
Hunter shakily nodded, handing the bottle over to Rayna.

Rayna took the bottle and she began to scrub the blood as best as she could, getting her hands a little bloody in the process.

Hunter watched her do so, staring at the blood with an expression that was just depressed.

Rayna got as much blood as she could, and when she was done she set the bottle aside and just looked down at her hands, trying to dry the blood off.

Hunter thanked her quietly, swallowing back any tears.
