Saphirre sighed, grabbing a washcloth. She dipped into into some cold water and wrung it out, gently laying the damp, cold cloth across his forehead. She got to work making the spaghetti, carefully recalling all the steps he had shown her.

He groaned lightly and mumbled in his sleep. The phone rang against and revealed another different number other than Zoey.

Saphirre blinked curiously at the unfamiliar number and picked up the phone. "Hello?" She wondered who it was.

"Saphirre? Is my brother there?" It was Erin's voice, she sounded a bit shaked.

"Yeah, he's asleep. Are you okay?" She asked, picking up Erin's trembling voice. "Did something happen?"

Saphirre gasped. "You should come over here. Daniel will know what to do." She said. For a moment she wondered if the men had come from the lab, but that wasn't possible. Daniel's father didn't have any connection to the lab...did he?

She mumbled a quick thank you and soon hung up. Daniel soon woke up slowly. "Mhm..who called...? I thought I heard the phone ring."

"It's Erin. S-She said something happened to your father. She's on her way over." She explained quickly.

He sat up quickly and coughed when he heard someone knock on the door. "Check through the eye hole...it's probably her."

Saphirre nodded and went to the door, peering through the hole to see who it was. She grabbed a sweater and pulled it on, to cover her wings just in case it was someone else.

Erin knocked on the door again. "Saphirre let me in please!" Daniel nodded at her to let her in.

Saphirre quickly pulled the door open to let Erin inside. She had a million questions, but decided it was best to stay out of the way and let Daniel and Erin sort things out.

Erin ran over and hugged Daniel. "Daniel they took dad again." She cried into his shirt and he hugged her gently. "It's okay Erin you know they'll send him back...."

"A-Again? This has happened before?" She closed the door behind Erin and looked between the siblings worriedly.

Daniel looked up at her. "My dad...has had a problem with the law since out mother went missing. We know he didn't kill her but...other people think he did." He patted Erin's back and coughed lightly.
