A little while later Saphirre woke up. She yawned softly and sat up, unfurling her wings and stretching them out, along with her stuff arms. She folded her wings against her back and stood up. She saw Daniel and smiled. "How was work?" She asked. She saw Ron and giggled slightly to herself, seeing the sticky substance stuck in his fur.
-
Daniel blushed lightly. "I-it was a good day." He was hiding something in his coat. The thing in his coat moves a bit and a muffled bark came from it. Ron hissed lightly.
-
Saphirre blinked and glanced at the lump in his jacket. "What do you have there..?" She asked, a curious look on her face. She took a step closer and tilted her head.
-
He panicked lightly. "N-nothing!" Another bark came from his pocket and a nose poked out of the pocket. He covered it with his hand and heard a whine. Ron's hair was standing on the back of his neck.
-
Saphirre smiled and reached for the pocket. "Please show me?" She pleaded, listening to the muffled barks and whines.
-
He sighed lightly and pulled out the pitbull pup he took care of while she was at his work. The pup barked at Saphirre and his stubbed tail wagged. Ron hissed loudly at the dog.
-
Saphirre squealed and took the puppy, cradling it in her arms. "He's so cute! Why is he here?" She asked, petting it gently and laughing as his tiny tail wagged back and forth.
-
The pup licked her face happily and nuzzled her cheek. He smiled a bit and chuckled. "Well...my boss let me have him since his brothers and sisters already left..." he mumbled lightly. "He looked alone in his cage..." Ron finally had it. "You let a slobbering monster into the apartment?!" Daniel blinked and turned to Ron. "Y-you can talk?!" He stumbled back and hit the wall.
-
Saphirre, still holding the puppy, glanced between Ron and Daniel. "You should probably start explaining..." She told the cat quietly. She smiled apologetically at Daniel's shocked expression.
-
Ron frowned at Saphirre. "What's to explain, I can talk now if you excuse me." He hopped off the counter and trotted to the other room with was empty. Daniel did the only think.he could do. He fainted.
-
Saphirre blinked and set the puppy down. She knelt down at Daniel's side and looked at him, concerned. With some work she managed to get him onto the couch. She would have to explain a little more in detail when he woke up.
-
The little dog whined lightly and nudged Daniel's hand as it hit the ground with his long arm. He looked a bit peaceful. The dog tilted his head at Saphirre.
-
Saphirre smiled at how relaxed he looked and picked the puppy up again. She sat down and placed him in her lap, petting him soothingly. "I bet you're hungry, hm?"
-
The dog whined again and nuzzled her hand, licking it happily. Daniel groaned a bit and sat up slowly. "Ow..."
-
Saphirre hurried to help him up. "Are you okay? You must've hit your head when you fell..." She looked him over quickly for injuries, but didn't see anything. She hoped she hadn't missed anything.
