Why the hell should properly discussing a RP character template, a necessary aspect of RP's, discourage a person to start 'an RP'? They could've simply made another thread.
I feel completely complacent of what we've discussed. -
If you want to discuss somthing off topic, do it in another thread. The person should not have to create another thread because you were too selfish to talk about the matter bothering in another thread. What if someone made a thread for them and some other user specifiacally, and you just bump in and act like its yours and tell them to get out. Its rude, disrespectful, and should not be tolerated. I, myself, would not tolerate such things and would probably tell whoever the stiff dick was to get out of the thread at all costs.

But this thread wasn't made for any specific user. That's a 'what if' scenario that has absolutely no relevance to your argument.

We were discussing a related (for the most part) topic, and S_E could've aided the convo, or started this after-wards. Besides, nothing would be lost. Not even the plot, if there was one yet.

The plot:
There are secret experiments going on in a goverment testing facility. A time machene is stolen by a test subject, and they relize she was pregnant. They have to get her daughter Annie when she is young, so they can stop this forever. Annie, along with others, is sent back to the day she was bornbwhen she is 5. She grows up in hiding, raised by her young mother. Then, she gets sent back in time, and 10 year old Anna needs to find the others to save the world, and they have one week to break 19 year old Anna out of the testing facility. 2014-07-04 09:09:24 -
Why do they have to get Annie when she's young? What are they trying to stop forever? Who are 'the others'? How did they get Annie to send her back? Did they already catch her? Because it said before they were trying to catch her, now they magically have her and for some reason they're sending her back to the day she was born, which is also somehow when she was five. Again, who are the others? What are they saving the world from? Why do they need to break 19 year old Anna out? Is the purpose to save Anna or to save the world?

And where does the futuristic city mentioned in the subtitle tie into all of this?

Two things. You're becoming analytical, and picking the plot apart by it's essentials and super-ficial aspects. Which is good, but if you become as analytical as IHLAOY, you can become a bit of an arse, and often over-look subliminal (And not so) 'plot covers'.
