Alex chuckled softly at his protests, but stopped when he saw the look on Shadow's face. "Hey, you okay?" He asked softly, hoping he hadn't offended him in any way. He looked almost...hurt, like he was remembering something he didn't want to. -
(Shadow: DON'T TELL ME WHAT'S RIGHT OR WRONG e//e)
"I.. I'm fine." Shadow shook his head, looking down. "I just need to get a bath.. Baths clear my head." He smiled at the other male, trying to reassure him. "Are you okay? Maybe that was a cover up because you were down?" -
BUT STABBING PEOPLE IS WRONG)
"No, I'm fine." He promised, his little grin reappearing. The elevator doors slid open and he stepped out, walking a few steps before unlocking the apartment and opening the door for Shadow. "I'll show you the bathroom, you can take a bath if you want." -
(Shadow: SAYS WHO)
Shadow slipped past him, entering the room. He was happy that he'd be able to wash up properly. "Thank you, Alex. You're.. You're the only person that I feel like I can trust." A grin crept onto his face. "Maybe we can take a shower together sometime." -
SAYS ME)
Alex walked and closed the door behind him. When Shadow asked about showering together he blushed bright red and widened his eyes. But then he gave an easy laugh and played along. "Yeah, maybe." He had only been joking...right? Shadow seemed nice, and he was certainly handsome, but they'd only known each other for about an hour at most...Either way, he was glad Shadow was starting to trust him. Alex led the way to the bathroom and handed him a towel. "I'll leave some clothes outside the door for you." -
(Shadow: *huffs*

"Thank you." Shadow cuddled the towel, walking into the bathroom and shutting the door. He stared at the (shower? tub?) while setting the towel on non-wet space on the sink. He hoped that it wouldn't take him too long to wash up. It was already starting to get into the afternoon, and he wanted to make lunch for Alex. If Alex hadn't already eaten.. He sighed, running a hand through his messy black hair. -
...Oh. XD O.O)
Alex, seeing that Shadow was in the bathroom, headed to his own room. He quickly stripped off his work clothes and sighed happily, changing into a much more comfortable t-shirt and pair of jeans. He flopped down tiredly on the bed. He should probably be getting up and making lunch for him and Shadow, but he was so tired...
